Highlights
  • Renaissance Mall & Rif Fort - The Rif Fort is a 19th-century defence monument which was built to protect the island from the invasion of pirates and enemies. Its key location was centered in the heart of Curaçao. It lies at the entrance of the Sint Anna Bay in the western Otrobanda neighbourhood
  • Otrobanda - Otrobanda is one of the historic quarters of Willemstad, located at the southwest side of the city, in Curaçao. Otrobanda was founded in 1707, and has been designated a Unesco World Heritage Site.
  • Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge - The Queen Emma Bridge is a pontoon bridge across St. Anna Bay in Curaçao. It connects the Punda and Otrobanda quarters of the capital city, Willemstad.
  • Street Art Willemstad - Otrobanda’s residents make the neighborhood special by encouraging artists, opening their exterior walls and hosting regular street parties with music and art. They threw these parties called Kayakaya every few months.
  • Queen Juliana Bridge - Reaching a height of 56.4 metres (185 feet) above the water at its apex (to accommodate ships entering the narrow harbour), it weighs 3,400 tons. The view from the apex includes the entire panorama of Punda, Otrobanda, and the Schottegat and is one of the highest vantage points on the island.
  • Scharloo - Scharloo (Papiamentu: Skálo) is a neighbourhood and former suburb of Willemstad, Curaçao. Scharloo started as a plantation, but became a wealthy neighbourhood of Willemstad. Scharloo has been designated a Unesco World Heritage Site.
  • Landhuis Chobolobo - Home of the Genuine Curacao Liqueur. A visit to the Curacao Liqueur Distillery at Landhuis Chobolobo is a journey through the history of Curacao. You can experience and learn more about the distillation process of the world-famous Blue Curacao Liqueur and enjoy the taste such as it has been produced since 1896.
  • Caracas Bay - Continuing our journey, we head towards the picturesque Jan Thiel district, where you’ll marvel at the stunning vistas of Caracas Bay and the Spanish Waters Lagoon. Make a stop at Curacao’s Handcraft Market, Caribbean Handcraft, to peruse local souvenirs and enjoy the scenic views from their porch.

Awesome Tour - The history and culture that was shared as we toured the island was very educational. It truly makes a difference when you have a native born person share about their island--there is a since of pride that is heartfelt. The tour far exceeded our expectations--very memorable.

A great experience - Anita was spectacular! My family and I (a large group of 21) enjoyed every minute of this tour. Anita was engaging, informative and very accommodating to those in the group who needed extra assistance. It was interesting to learn the history of the island, and all our questions were answered in good spirits. Before the tour was over we already made plans to return and experience more of the island with Anita.

Simply delightful - This tour was amazing. Anita was absolutely phenomenal. She told us so much about Curaçao. Upon getting on the bus, I was told this tour had a 2 hour beach stop at Mambo Beach (I’m happy they turned around and let me go get my beach stuff) that was absolutely amazing. It’s not the norm to my understanding (a big group on the tour booked it in advance) but I was glad to be able to take advantage of that. The stops at the Curacao distillery and souvenir shops were truly amazing. My 1 suggestion is to stop at the DUSHI & CURACAO signs to let tourists take pictures.

Good experience - Very good overview of the city but I wish there were more opportunities to get out of the vehicle and walk around, have free time. The souvenir shop at the end was not great. Nice tour guide.

Driver was wonderful - The narrator explained everything well through the ride. Only thing I would have preferred would have been a stop to a nicer gift shop.
