Great for teens - This park was awesome! Arrived close to opening and hardly had to wait in lines longer than 20 minutes all day. The park itself is beautiful with themed countries. Teens loved the thrill rides; I loved the sky ride and train and Le Scoot (log flume). Only caution- food is crazy expensive. That’s to be expected but I mean it was more expensive than a Disney park lunch. We all loved the park and would love to return.

Fun park with great themed coasters - Overall a great park. We were pleasantly surprised. The coasters were AWESOME!! Enjoyed the themes of the coasters and the overall park decor. The smokehouse and German food were pretty good. We had meals with our ticket package (not all day dine, just entree and a drink). We maximized our meals by sharing the sampler platters, and 2-3 meals were plenty to share for 3 adults and an older teen. The prices were a bit high, but compared to restaurants in the area, pretty typical. If you were expecting lots of animal exhibits like BG in Tampa, you’ll be disappointed. Not too many to see. Lots of hills while walking around - so can get in a nice workout. Biggest issue was ride and area closures. We opened the park and headed to a coaster in Germany, just to find the area roped off and that it opened after park open. They could’ve stopped us earlier to save a long walk. Other closures during the day, not weather related. A few while standing in line. However, lines overall weren’t too long for most, so we just found a different ride and came back. If you’re a thrill seeker, don’t read up on the coasters and just go. The surprises made it all the more fun!!

Nice Day - Rides were enjoyable. Entertainment was pretty good too. Prices are a little high for the concessions.

Had a nice time, love how pretty park is! - Pros- A beautiful amusement park, with lots to do! Loved the variety of rides, shows, and options of what to do at the park. Food was pretty good, and the all-day dining made it worth it. Cons- THE CROWDS!! The difference between our cloudy and sunny day was unbelievable; from walking right onto a ride to waiting almost an hour for the log flume ride..wow!! Maybe cap the park at a certain # so people can enjoy themselves more. And the amount of people jumping in 'fast lane' and being allowed to ride was ridiculous. The attendants must monitor and enforce this. Also, not a good feeling when seeing the security and police officers at the park often on their phone, texting, etc. I get it, it gets boring, long day, etc. but I really saw this far too often.

Don’t buy the ice cream in England Squires sweets! - Most everything was enjoyable. Typically the food is excellent and a decent value. We tried the ice cream in squires sweets in England and it was soft serve something. It was Not exactly ice cream. It had heavy notes of corn syrup. It was Way too sweet and it had a syrupy shiny stretchy consistency. We tried to share it, but it was so much different from ice cream that we threw it out. I wouldn’t waste the time or money or feed anyone that gooey weird engineered “ice cream”.

Bush Williams Gardens has really gone down hill. - First ride we rode was a roller coaster. We got stuck due to mechanical issues and had a very dangerous exit on a steep inline. We went for years to HalloScream but the bark has really gone down hill.

BUYERS BEWARE - We purchased 2 park fun cards for our kids and they stated they come with 2 guest passes. Yesterday we attempted to use them and we were told they expired on 9/2/2024. Now they tell us they changed the dates to expire on 7/31/2024?! False advertising and legal terms violations on their own legal terms?!

DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES - I purchased the Annual Premium Pass that says on the website it comes with 4 guest passes. What it doesn't say is that while your pass is for both parks, those are only for one park. Ok, no problem, I could understand that so had to pay for those water passes separately. I called to ask why I was only seeing 2 tickets when it said I was supposed to get 4. Turns out that they actually only give you the four passes spread out over a 12 month period!! Bottom line is don't join their membership unless you live nearby! VERY DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE. I'll cancel the "auto-renew", won't be joining again, and unlikely, after my trip this weekend, I'll ever give them my money again.

The park has deteriorated and did not feel safe. - We used to take our kids every October so we decided to take the grandkids. Terrible disappointment! It used to be beautiful… now it is run down, many rides were closed, and lots of rowdy, unsupervised teens. We didn’t feel safe toward evening and there were numerous police cars entering as we were leaving. Too bad!

Customer service / lost and found is a terrible experience - The park is nice, but don't lose anything - both you and your lost item do not matter to the busch gardens. I lost my cell phone, filled out the lost item app and was able to view my phone's location from a family member's google maps using the lost phone's GPS. I could see that the staff found the phone the next morning, moved it to two different buildings onsite where it stayed (ultimately in customer service building) until the battery ran out two days later. I went to customer service the morning after showing them it which building it was in, but they said "sorry, only two people in the park can release your phone and neither are working today". While I appreciate a secure process, it has been two weeks and busch gardens still maintains that my phone has not been found despite it clearly being held in their possession. How can they have my phone in their possession for two weeks without notifying me or replying to my lost item report and emails? Workers barely lifted a finger to talk to me about my lost item the day I lost it and all told me it's unlikely to get it back or it will take a long time. How can you treat customers this way? The park has several positive qualities, but BEWARE of customer service and especially lost and found. For some reason customer service / lost and found is does not function and (in my opinion) criminal in refusing to make your lost items available to you after you've shown proof of ownership and exactly where your item is in their possession. Unbelievable. I have to purchase a new phone due to Busch Gardens customer service being unwilling to respond to my emails and lost item report and make my device available. You've been warned - don't lose ANYTHING in the park. Better yet don't take anything into the park with you.
