History made interesting! - Very nice experience with my mom…private tour was prefect because it was at our pace and we’ve been there before many moons ago so it was nice to be able to remember things and ask questions without taking anything away from anyone else.

Uniquely Williamsburg Christmas Activity - If you want to do something Christmas-themed in Williamsburg, this is a great choice! Bambi is a very knowledgeable guide and she gave us tons of historical information as well as great explanations of all the Christmas decorations and the materials used, etc. Some of the wreaths that are made are quite unique. It is entirely outdoors, so dress very warmly and carry some hand and foot warmers. Bambi gives opportunities to stop for hot drinks as well. It is a leisurely pace, you won’t feel rushed. And she took several lovely pictures of us as a family. Highly recommend this tour!

Holiday Decorations Private Tour - Cyndi was very knowledgeable and shared historic information as well as details about the materials and construction process of the beautiful colonial decorations. We got to ask lots of questions and the walk was just the right amount of time and distance. It was nice to have just our group. The ginger cookies and hot chocolate were a nice treat! We would recommend Cyndi as a guide to anyone who enjoys history and gardening.

Chilly but informative - This tour would have been worth the cost just to spend time talking to Cyndi Young. Her breadth of knowledge and passion for the Williamsburg area is amazing. This particular tour should be done before sunset. That's early in December. The decorations are lovely but the late 1700s weren't exactly known for being well lit. Dusk was lovely but it also gets chilly fast.

Those wreaths are amazing! - Our guide was new doing this tour but he was entertaining and very knowledgeable about what he was showing us. He also had a good solid knowledge of the history in Williamsburg and the history behind the decorations that we were seeing. You could tell that he was very interested in the subject and that enhanced our experience with him. Nice young man

Williamsburg Holiday Decorations Tour - This was an excellent tour. Our guide provided great details as to the rules for judging the decorations, including the materials used and the manner in which the decorations are put together. She also shared what the judges are looking for to add or subtract points in selecting the winners.
