A Great Trip Into the Darkness - This was a great walking tour through the dark streets of Williamsburg to hear about the promised ghosts, witches and pirates. Our friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable guide included history, legends, tales, and personal anecdotes in his talk throughout the evening. Our guide was ever mindful of our safety over uneven terrain in the dark, and warning of other hazards such as puddles or mud or "road apples" left behind by a carriage team. The tour was perfectly paced, keeping our group moving without rushing, allowing enough time to enjoy the stories and absorb the sites and sights. I am handicapped and use an electric three wheeled cart to get around and was able to fully participate in this tour. All in all a delightful evening.

Fantastic experience! - Grace was a fabulous guide and interpreter ( and a good actor, too)! We loved hearing the tales and learning more of Williamsburg's history. Walking through an almost deserted town in lamplight was a lovely experience. The price was very reasonable for two hours of such entertaining and educational info.

Fun and engaging ghost tour - Gracie the tour guide was very patient with our 11 yo grandson and kept him engaged throughout the tour. This is not always easy with our ADHD grandson.

Oral storytelling, fun environment. - I enjoyed the oral storytelling of the tour. Interesting stories especially about the witches and pirates. Michael was a great guide who told great stories, corny (but funny jokes) and answered questions. He anticipated questions people might ask which have interesting insights to the tour. This company also offers other tours like a conspiracy tour so if ghosts are not your thing then look into their other options. It was a good mix of walking and stopping to listen to a story. Good pacing. Note: you cannot go inside the buildings as they are owned by Colonial Williamsburg. Colonial Williamsburg also offers tours where you can go inside. I enjoyed the tour as is and the company is great. They called us 15 minutes before the tour to make sure we were on our way and knew where to meet them and took great care of us.

History with a twist - Be prepared for a lot of walking. Parking is free in the paid parking lot after 6pm. Easy access to meeting point from parking lot. One person in the group did get a picture of something in one of the windows. Great way to learn a little history of the area.

Not great - The tour was just average. The stories were pretty boring. And, it ended 30 minutes before the scheduled time of 9:45. Would not do another tour with this company.
