A delightful day visiting Barossa Valley! - This was a wonderful trip into the "wine world" of the Barossa Valley! Our driver/guide, JR, was entertaining/informative. Every time we were in the van, he would relay facts and tips about the Barossa Valley and the various wineries, especially the ones we visited. He promoted a friendly air to all the group and by the end of our trip we all seemed to be enjoying one another's company!!! And we got to taste some wonderful wines!!!

Excellent Tour and Company - We actually did two tours with this company and both were fantastic. The first one was an impromptu tour that was quickly organized when our tour ship was supposed to go elsewhere and ended up with an extra day in Adelaide. We did an Adelaide city tour, followed by a drive to Lofty Point, the highest point in the area. Our guide, Peter was great and stopped along the road, when he found a koala sleeping in the crook of a tree branch. We next went to a town called Hanhdorff and had about 2 hours to wonder around. Then it was back to the ship. It was a nice tour, the guide was great and the company was nice to put it together at such short notice. The next day we did the winery tours with lunch. This was also a great tour. Our guide today was named Thomas and he was quite entertaining. He stopped first at a reservoir that had a parabolic wall, where we could hear someone whisper from one side to the other. There was a wild kangaroo in the park that we were excited to see. A Thomas pointed out mobs of kangaroo under trees to us as we drove on. He took us to 3 wineries and we had lunch at one of them. All three wineries were different and the wines were all good. The place we had lunch, a winery called Lamberts, served us lunch during the tasting. We had no choice in lunch and they brought out pizzas to the table. They were good, but there was nothing else to eat and if you didn’t want pizza, there was nothing else. Dessert was a cookie from a package. Really not a great lunch. The port we were served called The Chocolatier was amazing and we bought a bottle. Each winery was different and all of them were very nice. You are not allowed to walk through the vines here because of possible contamination to the vines from dirt on our shoes or clothes.

Tasty and Informative Wine Tour - Was wonderful to get outside of the city and see the beautiful Barossa Valley. Even if you are not a wine expert, it is still nice to taste something different, and to see the countryside. Our tour guide Jason was very informative, both within the city and during the drive. We were glad to have a local point out the areas for dinner.

Day in the Barossa - Truly enjoyable day getting out to three wineries in the Barossa, stopping at Kies Family Wines, Turkey Flats (where we had lunch), and Rosenvale Vineyards. Baden was our driver and guide, and we loved how he engaged the bus with his stories and information about Adelaide and South Australia. Informative and interesting, he kept us engaged the whole trip!

Tour driver & host JR made this tour a fun day. - Tour host & driver JR was brilliant. Knew his stuff, extremely hospitable, highly recommended. We visited 4 wineries in total, each of them served reds, unfortunately only one did a Riesling ( most popular) and there was no Chardonnay in sight ( second most popular). We would have preferred a bit more balanced offering. Lunch was included, but we were disappointed with the offering. It really was a very small charcuterie board that had to be shared by 2 adults. Take note if you’re doing this tour, bring snacks to soak up the tastings & quell your hunger pangs. It’s a long day from 9am pick up to 5.30 ish drop off. A great tour for folks who love their reds. We enjoyed our tour and JR made it memorable for all the right reasons.
