Experience this amazing 3-hour guided kayak tour along the clear waters of the Colorado River just south of the Hoover Dam from Willow Beach Marina, Arizona. Meeting us at Willow Beach Marina- Paddle Craft Beach area. After a brief safety instruction your guide will get you on the water for a beautiful paddle on the slow flowing Colorado River. You have many stops along the way to stretch your legs and even a short hike to the best view of the River. This tour includes wildlife viewing opportunities, a 4-mile moderate paddle round trip and as well as a comfortable light touring kayak with light weight carbon paddle, life jacket, snacks, fruit and plenty of bottled spring water.
- Please dress appropriately, layers and comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Children (12 and under) must be accompanied by an adult in a shared tandem kayak
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
- This activity is not wheelchair accessible

Great day on the water! - It was a beautiful day on the water and clear Emerald water is amazing. Preston was the perfect guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and made our tour very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Awesome Nature Trip - This trip was awesome!! Ryan was a great guide/instructor. Have never Kayaked and was worried about getting tired or even blisters on my hands. That didn't happen The trip was very serene and beautiful, felt very connected to nature. The water was calm, as we went on a Monday. The cave was absolutely stunning. There was a wait to get in the cave as other tours were also going during the same time. We were able to paddle around and explore during our wait. Enjoyed every part of the day. Make sure to bring sunscreen and extra clothes (You may get wet).

Beautiful landscape - We spent an amazing afternoon wuth our guide Adam, who was engaging and shared some interesting facts and history of the area and also showed us some great pictures we could take! Definitely recommend the kayaking trip!

Breathtaking Beautiful Experience on the Colorado River - What a great experience. It was awesome, I would do it again and I would go with River Dogz. Great service. Puntual. My friends and I were going to hike the Grand Canyon but because of the dangerous heat dome, we had to change our plans. We ended up in Las Vegas, I wanted to experience paddleboarding on the Colorado River, and I had an awesome time. River Dogz picked me up at a hotel on the strip and drove us to the meeting place on the river. Great service, snacks, water, and my favorite parts were the Emerald Cove and the coves and beaches along the river. I would love to go back, rent a kayak, and camp out along the river banks.

Awesome day, Preston was a top guy, location is amazing! Would fully recommend - Awesome day, beautiful location with stunning scenery. Preston was an amazing guide, from information about literally everything on the river, to bringing water and snacks for the whole group and just generally being an awesome guy. Cheers for the day Preston, appreciate it. Would highly recommend the excursion to all. Will be returning on our next trip to Vegas purely because of how beautiful the location is and the top service we received from Preston and everyone else at Riverdogz.

A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!!! - Please take time and do this tour. Ask for Tyler he was phenomenal!!!! My family and I went kayaking for the first time and had an once in a lifetime experience! Tyler our tour guide made the excursion even better! He was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about the land and history of Lake Mead and The Colorado River. This is a must do, must see experience! Do it!!!! We were literally kayaking in a Bob Ross photo! Lol! Thank you so much Tyler for everything! You rock and deserve a promotion! Sending love from your friends in Ohio!!!❤

Perfect Kayak Excursion at Willow Beach - Excellent kayak trip from Willow Beach to Emerald Cove. Our guide, Ryan, was awesome. He is very friendly and informative. Safety of the group is top priority. Plenty of water and snacks for the group. Ryan took lots of pictures for us. The highlight was seeing a Big Horn towards the end of the trip foraging and drinking along the river. I highly recommend Ryan and this kayak trip.

Sensational. Worth every penny! - Bucket list stuff.
You absolutely must do this if you feel like it’s up your alley. There is an option with Vegas hotel pick up too.
We did it on one of the hottest days in history. It was ridiculously hot so anything less hot is a bonus.
You need to be average fit and healthy and prepared to work a little. Other than that, it’s a gentle paddle down glass still water. 2 miles out, 2 miles back. The views are unreal and the dramatic scenery and stunning wild life is worth the effort.
It’s a guided tour and they are frankly excellent at what they do. We met the whole team. They were polite and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Snacks and water provided throughout. We left a bag in a canoe and the team organised for us to meet them to recover it in Boulder City.
It’s a wonderful trek into nature in a beautiful setting, for not a lot of money.
Prepare to get wet! You absolutely will do. You will dry again in minutes. Bring waterproof phone cases to save any losses. That Emerald glow in the water is mesmerising! Don’t miss out! You will not regret it. You will not hate it. You don’t have to be an athlete. No one is pushing you beyond your capability. What more could you need to be first time adventurous?

Part Two after company's reply - Our tour was shortened to one and a half hours on the river, therefore the pace was fast for beginners. There was also wind and current to contend with on our paddle. Veterans offered a refund in their reply after doubting my honesty. When I went to the website I found I was blocked. The trip was breathtakingly beautiful, but we are seniors and the tour was way faster than usual, requiring us to paddle quite vigorously. I was told a four year old could do this, as could an 84 year old. I do believe that, however not when a four hour tour is condensed to less than two hours. Ray, our guide, was stellar. She was helpful, but stayed at the front of our group. We missed a lot of the educational talks.
