Please park at Trails End Access Ramp. All guest should arrive 15 minutes early. Please call (919) 302-3421 when you are parked and the Captain will escort you to the sailing vessel. We return to the same location to drop off guests.

Beautiful day on a beautiful boat! - Captain Jim's knowledge about sailing made us all very comfortable. His knowledge about Wilmington and his love for was fantastic as was his knowledge about it was a beautiful day out on the water and me and my family had a wonderful day! It was a beautiful day on a beautiful boat I recommend this outing for any and everyone! Thank you Captain Jim

Anniversary Adventure - I surprised my husband with a private charter for our 25th Wedding Anniversary with Shamrock Sailing and Captain Jim. We had a great time! Captain Jim was very nice and knowledgeable of the area. The boat is huge, 42'! It was cool to see Wrightsville Beach from the ocean side instead of land, lol. The open waters were not for me, upset tummy, but loved the intercoastal portion. Thank you for a lovely day!

Best Day Ever Sailing with Captain Jim of Shamrock Sailing in Wrightsville Beach, NC - An amazing sailing adventure and learning experience for our family! Captain Jim went above and beyond to teach my som and husband some sailing pointer for their BSA sailing trip to Sea Base in Key West, FL. Jim’s experience in both sailing and life kept us all captivated during our private charter. We all highly recommend taking a charter with Captain Jim and Shamrock Sailing in NC.

Morning cruise with on Shamrock - Captain Jim knew our teens are sailors, and he made sure we went out on the open sea and let them sail the boat! They were also able to bring it into the inter coastal waterway and get the feel for maneuvering a larger craft than what they are used to in a more confined environment. Additionally, Captain Jim is a fantastic guide regarding the area, both the natural environment and the local scene. We enjoyed chatting with him about history, economics, birds, lore, and tides. We counted this cruise as the highlight of our trip to NC.

Private Cruise - We had a great time! I would highly recommend. It made for a great family memory. Captain Jim was so nice and so professional. When I initially tried to book, all slots were sold out. Upon learning we’d be leaving the area as our vacation was ending, he worked us in for a shorter private cruise. It was the highlight of our trip! Thank you Captain Jim!

Sail Away - My family and I enjoyed a private sailboat tour recently. Captain Jim went out of his way to make sure the adventure was fun for our entire family. In addition to sailing we spent time watching dolphins and even enjoyed a refreshing swim.

Tour - I didn’t get a change to experience the tour. That day there was a thunderstorm. So the best option was to cancel the tour. I would like to experience later on
