Greatest Lakes District tour ever! - Incredible views and vistas with a skillful driver who easily navigated the narrowest lanes and a guide who was both knowledgeable of the Lake’s history and had interesting stories and perspectives. This was one of the most enjoyable guided trips this vacation.

Excellent and enjoyable trip. - Excellent way to start the day. Though we’ve been to the Lakes many times we have not ventured into the Langdales. The speaker system in the coach ensured that the excellent commentary was clear for all. The atmosphere was very informal and friendly. Excellent driving by the driver along the many narrow lanes. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Will be booking another next time we’re in the Lakes. Many thanks 😁

Really enjoyable tour taking in beautiful scenary - This half day tour was brilliant and the lovely two ladies Jillian and Sandra took us round the most amazing scenery. Visited Conniston lake and both the Langdale Valleys. Even though it was moody weather it did not spoil our walk round the tawns. Fell in love with the Lake District and will definately be back. A must do tour if you visit the area.

Great way to spend a morning - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Tim. We visited some places that we would never have visited and saw some amazing scenery. Tim was very knowledgeable and the vehicle was very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour. It was our first tour of the Lakes and we will definitely be booking more.

Great guide, breath taking scenery - I booked a half day thinking that would be enough, but I left wanting more. If you have the time I recommend a full day but doing half is also quite enjoyable. Driver arrived on time and it was a very pleasant journey seeing all the historic sites and beautiful landscapes while being told the history of these at the same time. We did make some stops where I got some gorgeous photos and also a short trek around a lake (10-15 min walk) we even had a cheeky stop at the famous ginger bread shop, thanks driver (their ginger breads are amazing). Driver had a good sense of humour and many stories to tell. Wish I'd done a full day.

Narrow paths to majestic views - We enjoyed seeing beautiful areas we could not have driven to ourselves, and meeting our 2 companions on the tour. We liked listening to our knowledable guide, Tim, and even stopping for gingerbread (Grasmere)!

A fantastic tour, thanks to Tim - We had a great time on this tour today. Learned tons of interesting facts about the area and its famous residents, stopped at several beauty spots for pictures, and had a nice walk through the Langdale area. I'm so glad that Tim was our guide for access to these incredible places and plenty of time to appreciate the beautiful surroundings. On the practical side, Tim arrived at our starting point promptly, he explained the Covid prevention procedures, he checked to ensure we'd be comfortable with the walk and he returned us to our destination on schedule. Tim showed a genuine interest in talking wirh us and told some entertaining tales. I would definitely seek him out again fir another guided tour.

English Lakes Tours, half day tour to Coniston & The Langdale Valley - We were a party of 3 friends , having a weekend break in The Lake District. We made a last minute booking for the half day tour to Coniston & The Langdales. The tour started in Bowness on Sunday Morning 6th March , our driver Phil arrived early and was very friendly. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. The tour was most enjoyable and our driver was knowledgeable and informative . I would recommend the tour as it was a very enjoyable morning. We got to take some lovely photographs of the landscape which we wouldn’t have been able to access if we hadn’t opted to go on the tour. We had a lovely walk around Tarn How and towards the end of the tour we stopped at The Gingerbread Shop in Grasmere . We bought some of the gingerbread which enjoyed later with coffee and it was delicious . Thanks Phil for making our tour interesting and enjoyable.
