Independence Museum - The Independence Memorial Museum (IMM) is dedicated to Namibia’s anti-colonial and independence struggle. It serves as the main repository for materials and memorabilia related to the country’s anti-colonial resistance and armed liberation efforts.
Alte Feste - The Alte Feste, meaning Old Fortress in English, is a fortress and museum located in downtown Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. It is positioned on Robert Mugabe Avenue, adjacent to the Independence Memorial Museum.
Trans-Namib Railroad Museum - The Trans-Namib Museum is housed in the historic Windhoek railway station building. Officially opened on 1 July 1993, the museum’s exhibition features a wide array of railway equipment, maps, and related items dating back to the German colonial era and South African administration.
