Major disappointment and overrated 👎 - Visited Lego Land for my nephew's birthday. 2 kids 8 and 5 years old and 4 adults I would go as far as to say the park itself overall is rubbish. All the money and the name Lego has made for itself can do much better. The kids enjoyed it yes because kids are easily pleased. I did enjoy Mini Land and the 4 D movie but that was it for me. The majority of the rides were closed which was a disappointment after you had paid your your ticket. Understaffed, with no maps, and no painted directions on the floor to help you where to go like Chessington. Car park was hard to find the exit when it was dark maybe some cat eyes to help. Just really disappointing for the name. I expected more even as an adult. The rides lastest 20-30 seconds after queuing which is a joke. Food: The pizza buffet was £18.50pp and £12 for kids however it was the worst pizza ever. £10 for a hot dog and drink. £6 for chocolate-covered doughnuts which my nephew didn't eat because they weren't nice. £5 for ONE tiny scoop of ice cream. These places can charge these prices because we idiots will pay it to treat our kids for the day. My mum paid £5 for a Costa coffee which she had to put in the bin. The coffee was sold from a Legoland coffee shop and put into a Costa cup because my mum said that was not a proper Costa coffee because she drinks Costa every day. I will not return in the future.

Terrible services inside the park - We went there for a day trip and the park itself is nice and fun, but the services they provide inside the park are horrible. We bought two refill cups online and when we got there to claim them, we were told that there was no ice in some machines. It turned out NONE of the drink machines had any ice in them. All the beverages were warm and it was 30 degrees hot. I tried to return the cups and get a refund but I was told that I couldn't do it because I had already used them once. I had to end up buying cold beverages from the kiosks and spending twice the money I should have spent. After that, we bought the photo pass to download the family photos from the rides, but the phone signal wasn't very good and the battery was dying, so I asked the person who sold us the pass if I could download the photos when I got home and he said yes, of course. When we got home I typed in the photo codes and I got a message saying the photos weren't available anymore and they only store them for 2 hours. I have tried to get in touch regarding the photos and there's no support whatsoever anywhere; Just an email address and they don't reply. So, in conclusion, I spent £22 in cups I couldn't use and £20 in a photo pass that gave me 0 photos.

Mixed day but food prices are extortionate, the Mafia must be supplying the produce. - A real mix bag of a day. As a family of four with 2 children aged 11 and 15, we've been to Legoland around three or four times till now, mainly when the children were younger and they have always loved it. Roll on to this week and we decided to book this up for a day trip over the Easter holidays. In terms of the park itself, its looking very dated in parts and needs some refurbishment. The new Sky Lion ride in the Mythica area is very good and very modern, but quite a few of the rides need replacing now to the same standard due to wear and tear. So the rides themselves were a real mix bag. The main lighthouse pool area where they do shows, was shut (don't know why) and all the water had been drained from it. So its either being repaired or being updated, but there was no mention of this before going. The staff were friendly so can't fault that, but if I have one major gripe that will stop me from returning its the food prices. To say they were extortionate would be putting it mildly. Al Capone could have learned a thing or two about extortion from the management running Legoland. The Costa coffee, for example, was £4.30 for a small latte. Everywhere else in the country a small latte at Costa will set you back (at time of writing) £3.30. So why the need to charge a full £1 extra Legoland?? There's no need for that what so ever. We then bought 4 hotdogs. At nearly £9 a hotdog, that doesn't come with onions - if you want those its an extra 75p, its a shocking price. But thats not nearly as shocking as seeing a pretty bog standard Cheeseburger for £10. Yes, you read that right...£10!! We're not talking Michelin star quality burgers here, were talking about a burger in a paper bag you have to put your own ketchup on. Come on!! thats ripping the absolute p*ss out of hard working people, who have already forked out nearly £140 for a family ticket. Donuts were not different, 10 small donuts....£10. A single dusted donut...£2.50, you want chocolate sauce for that? thats an extra 75p... Ice creams, £5 for a vanilla cone with sauce on...want a Flake? thats extra...and so it goes on. Im sorry, but there is virtually NO excuse for these kind of prices Legoland. Please don't come up with drivel about the price of food, you're buying this produce in bulk. If you're trying to price yourself out of the food game, you're going the right way about it. I would seriously suggest a family of four brings a picnic with them, you would save yourself an absolute fortune as opposed to eating out at Legoland. There's no need to for the ridiculous food prices, its pure greed, plain and simple. Here's a thought Legoland, how about reducing the food by a couple of quid and actually selling more?

Don't buy the refillable drink!! - Second vist in five years, wasn't impressed five years ago as it was very run down, but my wife wanted to take the kids back now there older. We paid extra for the driving licence fine no problem kids and wife we're pleased 👍 Paid extra for the cup and infinite refills!!!!! What a joke hardly any machine worked and if you was lucky to find one that did it was warm or only had Three selections two of which will be carbonated water. No ice at any machine. This spoiled our day. The buffet pizza was good value in my opinion although if you're a fussy eater it might not be for you. The park seems to have been maintained better this time round. rides we're good although there we're lengthy waits but it was during the school holidays to be expected. *Don't buy the refillable drink *Don't take cash its card only(everywhere) *Get there early you will be queueing to get in *if theres a ride you really want to do then go there first the queues will only get longer *If you want to go in the shop then do it way before the park closes (huge queue) If it wasn't for the refillable drink i would have given a 3-4 star

PLEASE DON’T GO! - Please please PLEASE don’t bother! Agree with ALL of the negative reviews here. The kids and I were so looking forward to coming but as others have pointed out, it was over crowded, queues just insane (70mins per ride) and zero staff around. We managed 2 rides on the entire day; and one was a carousel.. we could have gone to the fair and had a better time and saved hundreds of pounds. I wish I had read the reviews before going. The kids were so disappointed and I have been ripped off. We actually drove into Windsor afterwards and saw a lone ferris wheel, which my kids mistook for the London Eye. I didn’t correct them, didn’t queue, paid 15 quid to get on and it was the highlight of their (and my day). So if you’re reading this and considering going, save yourself a massive migraine, a wad load of cash, and have a nice day out in Windsor instead looking at the castle, having lunch and going on the Ferris wheel.

Money grabbing, inefficient, tired and overfilled theme park with poor rides and appalling overpriced food - DONT BOTHER - I needn’t bother explaining all the faults as so many other people have done it. Just dont go… and if you do park- near the exit. We took one and a half hours to exit car park D not a single person from Legoland in sight to help. Thoroughly recommend Paultons Park - really exciting rides, immaculate gardens, amazing food and people who care! Peppa Pig for kids and masses for older kids too. I have never, ever had such a disappointing day out as we did at Legoland. NEVER AGAIN! You should be utterly ashamed of yourselves.

Prozac towers/ Miseryland - What a vile and unpleasant day out. Honestly- they should rename it Prozac Towers because after a day here you really need a double dose of antidepressants. Even if you paid me I wouldn't go back. Almost without exception (see later) the staff (when you could find them) were miserable, unhelpful and downright rude. At the puppet show the storyteller (who was really good and should get a job somewhere where her genuine talent can be put to proper use) made valiant attempts to cheer everyone up despite the run-down set and embarrassing puppets. Most of the place looks really run-down- the miniland attraction had missing pieces and was faded and damaged in places. The Hill train is dirty and scuffed and we were expected to open the exit gate ourselves on several occasions. The fairy tale boat ride and balloon ride halted half way 'due to technical faults'. I also have some issues with the orientalist depictions of Ali baba/ Aladdin in the fairy tales section. My kids got told off by the staff on most attractions despite not doing anything particularly naughty. Even the lockers are filthy. We paid £2 into the telescopes near the entrance which were broken and lost our money. There were no staff around to ask and obviously no signs to say they were out of order. I felt really ripped off as we had paid £20 for the photo imagic, but on the rides we went on, the terminals were not working or else the staff gave incorrect instructions so we couldn't get any photos. There were hardly any food outlets open so we were starving hungry as I stupidly didn't bring much food . My little boy had an accident on the hill railway and none of the staff bothered until we took him to first aid (where Andrew was really kind and the first and only decent staff member we met). Perhaps the height of our visit was after we had left, I realised that my husband and youngest child had not come out with us so tried to walk back to look for them. The entrance staff started telling me off as they seemed to think I was trying to walk back in for free. I'd rather have my toenails pulled out one by one than go back. It would actually be funny if we hadn't just wasted lots of money. I'm appalled that the lego brand accepts being linked to this place. I feel like chucking out all our lego after today's experience. The tragedy is it's such a great brand which is utterly wasted and spoiled by this place. I just wish someone who cared about Lego and making people happy could take it over. The only good things are the glorious red kites (fantastic and rare birds of prey) which we saw flying overhead and the glorious views over the Thames Valley.

Please listen to the bad reviews - they are right! Park cares only about money and not customer experience and enjoyment - Honestly! LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS. Biggest money grabbing park or event I have ever been to and we have been to many. Almost 8 hours at the park and we got on 5 rides. - Far to many people let in to the park like a lot of people have said - Too many people with fast passes, crazy with the price of them! £101 pp for the top one. - Queue times were all wrong. Worst example being the balloon ride. It said 20 minutes and we were over one hour for a 2 minute ride. There are only 6 cars and with the fast pass people getting on all of the cars constantly, the standard queue barely moved. It took people moaning and a new worker with common sense to let them have 2 of the cars and 4 to the general queue. We spoke to lady behind us in queue for one of the rides and they waited 2 hours for the rapids when it said 55 minutes! It was a problem on every ride. - Several rides had a lack of staff. Had there been one person getting people off and one on, it could have potentially reduced the waiting times on some rides - mental with the cost of the park and things in it - more than enough money ti pay staff!! - Food prices are crazy! £8.75 for a hot dog similar to one from a tin. £14 for chips and 4 chicken strippers with a small drink - if you do brave going take your own lunch. Wish we did. - Park filtered out by 4.30-45 and there were way less people and it was really noticeable - Tell you why? Because everyone was getting fed up with the queues and greed! - £10 parking! Didn’t check parking before we went but when we left I was shock. The park already had £150 off us for 4 tickets and we got on 5 rides! - Our children got frustrated all the time and in the end we finished with tiny town which was way calmer and actually enjoyable see - but that’s not just what we paid all that money for We will not be recommending the park to anyone and there is no chance we will ever be back! Don’t waste your money! Legoland should be ashamed of themselves. One word for it, ‘Greed’.

Queuing queuing queuing, and more queuing - If you are wondering whether to ignore the reviews and go , or whether to give it a miss… honestly, unless you have a child who is obsessed with Lego, don’t even bother. The queuing is absolutely ridiculous. My 4 year old son was so patient queuing , but it was so frustrating and boring , and really just felt like a bit of a rip off for what you pay for. Admittedly , he isn’t massively interested in Lego, apart from watching legocity / and ninjago, and building the odd thing. So we went for the rides really. You will queue for 50-60 minutes for every ride that is worth going on (unless you go on a school week day I guess) . Even the really small, boring and unpopular rides were 30-40 minutes to queue. It really ruined our day. I think we managed a total of 4/5 rides/attractions in the whole day. There is a £25pp reserve and ride pass you can buy on top of entry, but you have to still wait the same queue time , you just don’t physically have to stand in the queue. We asked a couple if it was worth it, and they said they would book a ride and then whilst they were waiting the 60 mins queue time they had reserved , they would go on another ride somewhere else and so they would alternate between queuing on a ride normally and then queue jumping the next ride for the one they reserved- can only reserve one at a time. Seems a lot of money for a family to pay an extra £25pp for that? On top of £33pp entry! It’s such a lot of money to pay, for not a lot. We took our own food thankfully, as the food looked rubbish and extortionately priced. The queue for ice creams was absolutely huge as well. The park was absolutely rammed. Unless you’ve got £90pp to spend on the instant access pass, I wouldn’t waste your time. Unless your child is absolutely mad about Lego , I just can’t see the justification to stand in queues all day long.

Very disappointed - Visited on probably the hottest day of the year thought it wise to buy a refillable drinks bottle. They’re £16. Put that to one side for the moment, the first drinks station dispensed warm, flat coke, no ice. Undrinkable. Tipped it away. Went to try another station but over heard families saying same thing. I asked 2 other families all said the same. If I’d paid £4-5 I would have let it go, but £16 thought I’d get a refund. Went to customer services, was fobbed off and told to go across to sweet shop?? Eventually got a manager. They scanned it and could see it was only used once. No interest & no apology. Further more denied any issue with drinks. I got offered £6 refund and they retained the cup. This should be unequivocally full refund. No question. Woefully poor. Behind me in the queue was another group with the same complaint. On a side note, prices are criminally expensive. We enjoyed the rides, but this really put a dampener on it. It was my sons birthday treat as well. Won’t be returning. You’ve only got to scroll though the other reviews to see the same themes occurring. Until people start voting with their feet l see nothing changing.
