Legoland and water park - Best theme park for kids in Orlando area. My kids loved it! Only downside is it was a bit far. We didn’t know they had a place to stay on site. We may look into doing that next time. It was an awesome experience.

Awesome! - This waterpark is 10 out of 10. Although several water slides were not open, which is a huge bummer. The crowd was small on Friday, so we did a lot in a short time. We have season passes.

Wonderful Visit to Legoland - Our trip to Legoland was wonderful. We visited on a Thursday during a family spring break trip to FL. After being at Disney the last 6 days the smaller crowd size was definitely a HUGE plus. We were able to all of the rides we wanted to without issue. Some rides toward the end of the day we even were able to get off and get right back on with no wait at all. The one thing I would say specifically to an improvement to line length would be on flying school. The next ride was not even getting queued up to the gate until the one that just finished was released. Having the next ride ready would have saved a good bit of time there. Another HUGE plus though was the refillable beverage cups. It was incredibly hot and humid (especially for us visiting northerners) and $4-5 a drink at Disney added up quick. The one improvement area I would say is we waited forever to get an icee fill at the ice cream stand in the lego city area. There was just one check out open and it would have been cool to have a second or maybe like an icee refill only line? Last thing I would say is that having later hours would be nice. I can't recall what the hours were when we visited years ago. I am pretty sure they were longer than 10 to 6 though. Other than that everything was wonderful. I am kind of sad that my kids are older now and this was probably their last Legoland. Someday I am sure that I can visit with any grandkids that I might have.

Great park - Great little park for the Lego lovers! We spent all day there but didn’t make it to the water park. Next time we know to spend more than one day!

They need a lesson on running the park at peak performance - This is NOT Disney peeps. The staff is overwhelmed. Only half of the ride capacity is being used. Not a lot of shade. Food service is reasonable but not great for sure. Extremely long lines due to staffing and usage of ride capacity. Pretty miserable for all. Crying kids everywhere

The park isn’t open long enough!! - The park was a blast, the lines were short, the water sports show was amazing but the huge downfall was the park is only open from 10-5. This park is MASSIVE and there’s no way to get everything done in 1 day!! We waited less than 5 minutes for every ride, the line for lunch was super short, and we didn’t do any shopping until the end of our day, yet we still only got through half of the park. They need to extend their hours. It’s a park the size of Disney parks with a fraction of the operating hours. Major let down!! Also, there were several rides that my 1.5 year old would’ve been able to go on if it were at Disney but we weren’t able to take him on any rides here. There were play areas for him but we didn’t go to any of them because (surprise) there wasn’t enough time. It was fun enough for us to come back, but we’ll have to spend more money and visit multiple days.

Too small for the admission price - Legoland is always great, however this review is for the Water park only. I feel it's too small for the admission fee paid. There are a few slides, a playground and a rather small pool with waves. If it was included in the general admission I would see it as a nice add-on, but what it is I feel we didn't get our money's worth. On a hot summer's day in Florida spending some time in the water is always welcome, and the things they do have are well maintained and good. I would just like to get a few more pools or playgrounds. When we visited only one of the slides in the playground were open, as apparently in the US you need an attendant at every open slide, which we're not used to. In Sweden we just sort it out ourselves at similar attractions. Sometimes we have a light to guide when it's ok to go. If the theme park would be open longer hours I would most likely be more positive, but with it open only 10-17, much of the day disappears if you spend enough time to get your money's worth at the Water Park and you barely have time for the main park that you also paid admission to. Perhaps separate entrance to the Water Park with no access to the main park at reduced price would be a compromise? Some more characters and theming on the Water Park would be nice as well, as it's just general Lego today, but it could as well be re-themed into any lego themes.

Horrible customer service - I normally would not leave a bad review, but I am really upset and disappointed about the customer service at Legoland and how they have handled our situation. My family bought season tickets for the second time and we have raved about Legoland to all of our friends. We are a family of 6 and our closest friends are as well. We bought the platinum season tickets when they were buy one get one 1/2 off. Our family friends decided they would get season tickets during the sale too so we could all go together. They had never been, but they trusted our opinion of it. They bought the gold season tickets. We planned a trip during Memorial Day weekend and not long after we booked it, we realized the Gold tickets had block out dates for that weekend. Our friends said they would upgrade their tickets to the Platinum. When they got online to upgrade (still during the sale!), it said you have to upgrade in person. SO, we waited until our trip in May and they were going to upgrade in person. When we got to the counter, the Legoland employee said the sale had ended and so they would have to pay full price to upgrade. Ummmm….no that’s not right. They were going to upgrade right after they bought the tickets but the only choice was to do it person. She said they could buy a “special price” two day ticket for that weekend. Well all of our kids are waiting to go in and so we asked if they could get a refund on the gold tickets in the meantime. I told them I would email customer service to get it sorted out. If you have to do everything in person and their current season passes weren’t eligible for those dates, why would they not have gotten a refund?? So, I reached out to customer service through email and explained everything. After several days, they asked for a confirmation number on our tickets and our friends. When I sent those, they wrote back about a week later saying the records showed that our friends got a refund so the case was closed. I’m going to continue reaching out until they make it right, but really to make it right, they need to refund the two day tickets our friends paid for and sell them the platinum tickets for half price. That is what they should have done in the beginning but are making us go through all of this. I’m super disappointed in the time I’m having to spend on this when they are in the wrong. If they don’t make it right, we will not be buying tickets to Legoland again and will also make sure anyone who asks about our thoughts are made aware of this inconvenience!
