Witness hand-harvesting of the iconic Barramundi by our experienced and professional team and then go and try to catch your own, at the big Barra Pond. Our crew are with you every step of the way to inform, illuminate and share their secret tips on how to land these big, silver beauties. Top it off with a gourmet tasting platter. Pond to Plate.

Ultimate Barra angling experience. - 5/5
So much fun. My wife & I caught some trophy Barra. The staff are so dedicated to the fish and the business, absolutely determined for you to catch the biggest (or first) Barra of your life.
Which happened to me. 95cm 👍🏼🏆 and Narelle 80cm 👍🏼🏆
Unquestionably the best bang for your buck experience in the Cairns area.

Great day out - Awesome guide (Flynn) knowledgeable, down to earth and funny. Great food, advice and the fishing was superb.
Would recommend if travelling with family or friends for a great day out.

Mine was bigger than his!! - Did the farm tour, fishing and platter. During their 'down' period so we fished for longer than normal. Mine was about 80cm and hubby's was about 25!!! I had one on within first 5 minutes. A few got off but thats fishing. Great tour, fantastic platter - raw fish, fish balls, fish skewers, sping rolls, batterd fish. Very friendly and very professional. Neck cover a great touch. Highly recommend

Great family activity - interesting, fun and great food! - Our family of six had no idea how to fish. Michael took us on a really interesting tour of the farm, then got us started learning to cast. He and Jay helped everyone to have a great time. They were so helpful and patient, and everyone had the chance to bring in a Barra. When we were done we headed over for lunch and the food was awesome - genuinely delicious fish. We'll be looking out for Daintree Saltwater Barramundi at the fish markets when we go home. Thanks to all the team for an awesome day!

Great Day of Fishing - Did the farm tour as well as the fishing. Great day out. Worthwhile experience. Seeing the look on Hubby’s face as he caught a 90cm trophy Barra was worth the whole experience! We will be back again when in the area.

Great fishing experience - The friendly and knowledgeable staff gave us a great tour, and ensured our fishing experience was successful in catching and releasing some lovely Barramundi. The Barramundi tasting plate provided was delicious.
I thoroughly recommend Hook-A-Barra, for a fun filled day.

Fun with Barra - The fishing and farm experience was fantastic. Steve our guide had a wealth of information. He had so much knowledge and was happy to share it with us. The farm itself was very clean and well run. And as for the barramundi tasting plate we got, only one word comes to mind - DELICIOUS. It was a lot of fun and we both caught a number of Barra. Highly recommended.
