  • 1267 McBride Ave - You must bring a valid ID such as a passport or driver’s license to fill out the waiver. When you arrive and present your voucher, our retail staff will know exactly what was purchased. Once your ports (shooting stalls) are ready, you will receive your eye and ear protection as well as your firearms at the retail counter. You then head into the Gun Range where you are greeted by one of our many RSO’s (Range Safety Officers).

Present your receipt to the RSO and they will escort you to your shooting port. Here they will instruct you on everything you need to know to hit that bullseye, including safety, stance, loading the firearm, focusing and holding the firearm. Before you know it, you will be hitting the target and having an amazing time! While you are shooting your friend or family can take photos ands video of you!

If you have any questions during your experience, the RSO’s are near by ready and willing to help you in anyway. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you to the Family!

When you’re finished, you and your group will have the opportunity to purchase more ammo, choose from over 300 different Gun rentals and continue the exciting experience! The fun doesn’t have to stop when your experience is finished!

When you arrive at Gun For Hire, there is plenty of parking both in front and behind the building. Head to the front of the building, when entering through the double doors, you are greeted by our Concierge. Upon your first visit, you complete a short waiver and receive your free Gun For Hire ID!

Get FSO Taj! - Experience was amazing! Taj was our instructor and many of us had never shot before. He was incredibly patient and helpful!

Amazing experience! - We’ve visited the shooting range with our family of 4 pearls, and had booked 2 packages. After filling in the necessary paper work, we received a brief introduction of how to safely use each weapon. Instruction was clear and staff was always nearby for help and to make sure everyone uses the guns in the right and in a safe way. Shooting was great, we truly had an amazing experience! If you have the time and budget, this is a must do! We’ve visited the shooting range during our stay in NYC. It’s said that you can go there via metro and bus, we travelled there by taking the PATH train tot New Jersey and ordered an Uber from there (that saves you a lot of money!).

Amazing - Excellent place visited from the UK; they make you feel welcome and were amazing. If you're nervous about visiting, don't be; they are very professional. You must go.

Well worth the trip from NYC! - Well worth the trip out from NYC while visiting from England - our two kids really loved it - especially my 15-year-old son and my 13-year-old daughter was happy to have a few shots and then donate the rest to her big brother!! John P helped us so much while on the range, but all the people working there were lovely and helpful and it’s clearly a really professionally run place. Would recommend to anyone who fancies something a bit different to do on a family trip instead of shopping!

Great experience - Went with a friend while travelling to New York. We had a great time and the staff were patient and really helpful as we had not fired a gun with live ammunition before. It was a really fun experience.

Super cool to do and nice explanation - Super really cool shooting range, clear explanation and while shooting Litto gave more than enough explanation and tips! If you are in New York, grab a taxi and go here, you won't regret it!!

Recommend without hesitation - Holy smokes!! The 50 cal Barrett was simply incredible. First time range users, myself and my 15 year old literally had a 'blast'. Easy to get to from New York, one bus from Port Authority then a $12 cab. Fill in a few forms and you are good to go. Staff were helpful courteous and informative. Shot a variety of weapons which were great but not a patch on having a shot with the Barrett, still smiling. Loads of cool Merchandise available in their shop too. Can't recommend these guys enough, even posted us our targets after we left them behind in our excitement.. 5*.
