Additional Information

Take in the beautiful coastal surroundings of Morwenstow, N. Cornwall with a local guide who was born and raised here. Our route takes us to some of the South west’s most remote, wild and spectacular places - all linked together on sleepy country lanes with very little traffic. This area is extremely beautiful but can be hilly, and this is where the electric bikes come into their own. With an electric motor assisting while you pedal, we will be able to explore the area in comfort, giving you more energy to take in the surroundings!

Our route will last 2.5-3 hours and will take us on some lovely roads out to the cliffs, with a tea rooms (famed for it’s cream teas!) and local pub along the way if you fancy a refreshment. To get access to some of the most interesting places (for example a shipwreck-wood cabin built into the cliff face in the 1800’s) we will park the bikes and go on foot for 15 minutes, so please bring shoes you are comfortable walking in too.

  • Guests should be competent and confident riding a bicycle
  • Not recommended for people weighing over 120kg as this exceeds the bikes safety limits
Location
The Old Forge
Go to the village of Woolley, postcode EX23 9PP. Drive the road towards Woolley and eventually you will come to a big triangle of grass and a fork in the road. The meeting point is a white garage straight across the green, in between two houses. You can park on the grass opposite.

Electric day out - My partner and I took the all day electric bike tour with David. It was an amazing day out on the electric bikes. We took the 30 mile electric bike tour and the bikes helped so much, but you still have to pedal, they just take the edge off. David’s knowledge of the local areas was amazing. We explored places that we would never have found if we were alone, but with David we were able to get a great understanding of the areas and explore some beautiful villages harbours and coastlines. Most of the ride was down small country lanes, and very little along main roads. We stopped at several point to sightsee and take pictures, which made the day. We recommend David and his electric bike tour as a great way to build some amazing memories of the areas, and get fit at the same time. If your going to Cornwall or Devon you must give it a try. The tour was great value for money and compared to the other trips we took while in Cornwall, this was second to none.
