Your first stop is the Yellow Crane Tower, a renowned structure in China with origins dating back to 223 A.D. The current tower is located on the banks of the Yangtze River and gained fame due to a famous poem by Li Bai from the Tang Dynasty. You can climb the tower to enjoy a panoramic view of the Yangtze River.
- Guiyuan Temple - Next, you’ll visit Guiyuan Temple, which spans 11.6 acres (46,900 square meters). The temple is well-known in the Buddhist community for its impeccable architecture, exquisite sculptures, and extensive collection. Originally built in the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) by two monks, the temple has been destroyed and rebuilt several times throughout its history. Key structures include the Daxiongbaodian Hall, Arhat Hall, and Sutra Collection Pavilion. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
- Hubei Provincial Museum - After lunch, you’ll head to the Hubei Provincial Museum near East Lake in Wuhan. The museum houses 200,000 cultural relics and features a comprehensive exhibition hall, a Chu culture center, and a Chime Bells Exhibition Hall. The Chime Bells were unearthed from the tomb of Yi, the king of the Zeng State during the Warring States Period (476 B.C. - 221 B.C.). This museum is a must-visit for any museum enthusiast. After the museum tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel, concluding the tour.
