Good Guides, Rushed Itinerary - Our liaison, Cindy, was great. We were ferried promptly to and from railway stations. She has been patient and accommodating which made our communications a breeze. The tour itself was rather rushed. There simply wasn’t enough time to enjoy the attractions. Lingshan temple itself is probably worth a full day visit. We were immersed with the history, workmanship and architecture of the entire complex but we managed to only visit brahma temple and the main buddha statue. The lunch after temple visit was late but late is ok, we felt bad that the staffs had to work late as we arrived near 2pm. The food was the worst we had in our entire holiday though with overcooked fish and nothing noteworthy at all for a ten course meal with mostly cheap ingredients. After meal, we visited a pottery museum beside the restaurant and we liked it. Some of us enjoyed tea and using proper clay teapots so time there was well spent. That also costed us to miss a showtime at the next three kingdom city which started at 3pm. Eventually, we couldnt keep to the booked time for return train and had to reschedule to 90 mins later. Our tour guide, Ms Guan, and liaison Cindy were great and go to great lengths to make us comfortable despite our rushed schedule. My friends jointly graded this trip and decided on this score after debating between 3 stars and 4 stars. 1. Great and easygoing guide and liaison. 2. Poor food for the price (we googled the food to be worth about 1200rmb and we paid less for better elsewhere) 3. Itinerary is too rushed and not able to tour attractions completely at all. 4. Good, patient driver and vehicle
