Highlights
  • Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone - The Yellowstone Grand Canyon is a must-see. In 27 years of guiding, I’m still in awe of the beauty of the rhyolitic rock formations, the beautiful trees, and the abundant wildlife that pass through to enjoy the Yellowstone River below.
  • Yellowstone Geysers - Mud Volcano Area - The Yellowstone volcano is the most infamous volcano in the world. Here at the Mud Volcano, the smells and sounds mixed with the history and science of the volcano make it one of my personal favorites. The Mud Volcano lets you see the activity and the violence of Mother Nature from a safe boardwalk and will fascinate your senses, leaving you wanting more.
  • Dragon’s Mouth Springs - See why the indigenous people prayed to the Gods to calm the spirits of the volcano at this ever-changing Yellowstone attraction.
  • Old Faithful - At the Old Faithful Geyser, you’ll have plenty of time to do a bit of shopping, maybe get an ice cream or a glass of wine while watching Yellowstone’s famous Old Faithful Geyser. You’ll also be given a short tour of the amazing Old Faithful Inn, built in 1902, with rich history and fun resident artists.
  • Fountain Paint Pot - The Fountain Paint Pots area is filled with a variety of geothermal features. Yellowstone has over 10,000 geothermal features from fumaroles, geysers, springs, etc. This stop has it all.
  • Hayden Valley - Hayden Valley has been home to a wide variety of wildlife, from bison, two wolf packs, trumpeter swans, pelicans, bears, coyotes, etc. With expansive views and wildlife, this area is a photographer’s dream.

Note: Allotted time for transportation is already included in the total duration.

  • Brink of the Lower Falls Trail - Feel the power of over 60,000 gallons of water crashing over the canyon walls as you stand at Artist Point and view the stunning colors of the Yellowstone Grand Canyon.
