- Xiamen Botanical Garden - The Xiamen English guide will hold your name logo and wait for your group at a centrally located Xiamen hotel at 8:30 am in the morning. From there, you’ll head to the Xiamen Botanical Garden, established in 1960. The garden boasts over 6,600 species of tropical and ornamental plants and features more than 12 specialized smaller gardens, such as “Palm Island,” “Rainforest World,” and the araucaria lawn. Notably, Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of China’s reform and opening-up policy, planted a Nepal camphor tree on the araucaria lawn.
- Jimei School Village - Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local, authentic restaurant before visiting Jimei School Village. The village includes Turtle Garden, Tan Kah Kee’s Former Residence, and Tan Kah Kee Garden. Finally, return to the hotel.
