Trip of a lifetime - Kevin is the absolute best. He provided a fun, informative, and adventure-pack tour of Xi’an. What a wondrous city. Just seeing the unique detail on each of the Terracotta warriors will transport you to another place and time. Seeing the Wild Goose Pagoda will add a dimension to what you think about Buddhism. Xi’an is as much as a must-see place in China as Beijing or Shanghai, and this tour made it easily understood.

Exceptional experience for the whole family! - I’m so glad I was referred to Epic Xi’an Tour and felt fortunate to have Kevin as our guide. The tour was great value, with a well-organized itinerary that focused solely on sightseeing, avoiding any commercial stops or shopping detours. Kevin provided professional and engaging commentary throughout, enriching our understanding of the stunning history. He was also incredibly friendly and patient with my children, making the experience enjoyable for the whole family. What we loved the most was Kevin took us to the most authentic restaurants, places only locals usually know about, we got to taste the delicious authentic Xi’an cold noodles, the lamb soup, dumplings, pork stew hamburger… - nothing we had in the States came close! Thank you Kevin for an exceptional experience for our entire family!

Great time. Alex knows it all! - I had a great time learning about the history of the ancient City of Xi’an. Alex is a terrific guide. He is very knowledgeable both about the history of the city as well as modern developments. His English language skills are excellent and I highly recommend him as a guide. We went through the ancient Muslim quarter and the great mosque of Xi’an. I like to experiment with new food, so Alex took me to some places that serve authentic Chinese food that is special in the region. If you take the bicycle tour around the Xi’an City Wall (which I highly recommend) then be prepared to cycle for a while. Even though Alex told me the dimensions of the structure I still underestimated how long it would take. After the official tour ended I was very grateful to Alex for suggesting I hang around the Great Wild Goose pagoda until sundown and witness the beautiful lights and entertainment of the new city district directly adjacent. I recommend going to the nearby Joy City mall for dinner. The restaurants there serve both authentic Chinese food, but also western style BBQ if you are less adventurous. I can recommend the bullfrog! Very unique food.
