Xi’an tour - Just spent a full day visiting the Terracotta Warriors, the Xi’an city wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda all during the first snow of 2020. We thoroughly enjoyed the day made even more interesting with our guide Carols insights into the history of each place we went and more. It was hard to fathom the age of the artefacts we saw, amazing! We finished off the day by attending a dumpling dinner and show about the story of the first Empress of China, which we totally recommend. Would like to thank Carol, who couldn’t do enough for us. Checked us in at the airport and waited until we got through security. She even went back to the hotel to collect and send on some items we left behind - thank you again Carol!

Well organized! - I chanced upon this half day tour and it met my needs perfectly. I didn't want the hassle of trying to get to the Terra-cotta Museum myself and wanted a guide to explain the amazing discovery in English. It was entirely a very comfortable experience, hassle-free! My guide, Tracy, was well-spoken, passionate and very organized. All around, great experience!

Terracotta Warriors Museum - Susan was the kind of guide that you will want to have showing you the best the city has to offer. Her narrative of the history was very captivating. She was full of little trivia about the musuem and the city and that made the attraction come alive for us.

above and beyond - best organised tour I've done - everything was just perfect - pick up was on time, no queues at the entrance, water provided, the knowledge of our guide carol was just endless - not only does she know everything (it seems) about the terracotta warriors, but also about xi'an and it's history! she even helped in personal issues - like train tickets, how to get to the airport, gave recommendations about local food and much more - the list could go on... the tour has exceeded all my expectations - even with many visitors in the museum (which is normal), everything ran smoothly and without any waiting time, enough time to see everything we wanted and get all information we needed. big thanks to amazing carol and the top driver mr li. if I ever return to xian, I'll book another tour with them!

Day trip to the Terracotta Warriors - I arrived at Xi'an by train from Chengdu in the morning. Tracy met me at the station and our diver took us to the Terracotta Warrior museum about an hour away. On the way, Tracy provided me with some historical context to prepare me for the museum visit. She was a good teacher. I learned a great deal in that short period of time. We arrived at the museum and here is where the guide was so important. It can be disorienting to know where to go, where to buy the tickets, and how to flow through the site. There are so many visitors! Tracy took care of everything. She had the tickets ready and directed me through the buildings and around the people/crowds. She pointed out details to me in the museums that helped me appreciate the visit even more. She maintained a nice balance between guiding and informing me about the material while also standing back and allowing me to explore on my own. I loved my visit very much, and I highly recommend hiring this short tour just to help you get through the museum.

Great Tour of the Terracotta Warriors - Our tour of the Terracotta Warriors with Roger was fantastic! He was a very informative and enthusiastic guide. The hotel pickup was right on time, and Roger provided important information about the history and context for the warriors. He also shared other important aspects of China and Xi’an’s history. The site was very busy on the weekend, and Roger showed us where to stand for the best views and to see the details that he explained thoroughly. Unless you know the history and speak Mandarin, I highly recommend taking the tour to understand the significance of the site. Also, it is chaotic if you are visiting on your own. Roger’s English is great, and he also answered our questions about current life in Xi’an. Additionally, I booked the day before, and the tour company was still able to accommodate us. The price beats all of the other tours I found online! At the end of the tour we ate at a restaurant near the Terracotta Warriors. It was good, but if you already have restaurants lined up to visit Xi’an, I would recommend going right back to the city. But, if you do this, bring a snack since you will probably get hungry.

Slightly below expectation. - The tour itinerary was good, but the guide was below expectation as compared to nearby guides who gave more comprehensive explanations.. Additionally, there was big crowds at the Terracotta Museum, but when the guide moves around from point to point, sometimes there was no signal to move on, so we have to lookout for her to avoid the risk of been left behind. The car provided was comfortable.
