A Lifetime Memory in Xi’an - This was a well organized tour. Wendy showed up on time with a driver and had several options for us to choose from for the day. Of course we did the Terra Cotta Warriors and then we added in a Buddhist Temple, the Xi’an City Wall, lunch with a 1 meter noodle, a play on the Silk Road, a introduction to the Muslim Quarter, and a tour of a shopping area and sampling the different food items. She was well prepared to discuss each option that we chose. One of the most valuable skills she brought was her English and we were able to understand her well. Seeing the Terra Cotta Warriors was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us and she helped us get the most out of the experience and introduced us to other good experiences.

Great day in Xi'An - Had a great time visiting key historical sites in Xi’An, including the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Terracota Warriors, and City Wall. Becky was an excellent guide and took time to explain the history behind each site comprehensively. Also some amazing food recommendations!

Amazing Experience in Xi'an - What an amazing experience and wonderful private day tour with Wendy as our guide. She was so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. It started to rain which didn't spoil the day at all and then it we thought how beautiful when it started snowing. Wendy took lots of photos and even suggested other experiences and the sights around us for after our tour. Our lunch at a local noodle restaurant was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would recommend Wendy as one of the best tour guides we've met on our China holiday ❤️

Xi’an tour with Wendy - We had the most enjoyable day around Xi’an with Wendy. She was so knowledgeable and took us through a trip through time, sharing everything with us. She was incredibly enthusiastic which made it so much more enjoyable. We really had the best tour, and got to see and hear about some of the most exciting things (terracotta warriors, big wild goose pagoda, a local show + tips for other attractions). So so grateful for Wendy!

In-depth cultural experience - Arriving at the Terracotta Warriors Museum, I was stunned by the spectacular sight. The details of each terracotta warrior were lifelike, from the facial expressions of the soldiers to the muscle lines of the war horses, all showing the exquisite craftsmanship of the ancients. What I particularly appreciated throughout the trip was the flexibility and personalization of the service. The tour guide adjusted the content of the explanation according to my interests, and even shared some small stories about the Xi'an City Wall and Muslim Street on the way back, which gave me a more comprehensive understanding of the city. Although I was a little tired after a day, the mystery and greatness of the Terracotta Warriors, as well as the meticulous arrangement of the entire customized tour, made this trip an unforgettable cultural baptism.

Fantastic terracotta tour A* - What a fantastic day trip thank you Wendy! We are so pleased that we took the plunge and booked a guide ( this is not something we usually do) she made it such a special experience. Wendy arrived early at our hotel to greet us and had the car ready to go. The car was comfortable and the driver made us feel very safe. On our journey to see the Terracotta Army, she answered all of our questions about life in the city. We were travelling with our 5 children and she talked to them about how school life differed from theirs in the UK. Wendy had lots of knowledge about the Terracotta Army, and was able to find something to interest everyone in our family. She helped us purchase tickets, and make sure we didn’t pay for our youngest, who was shorter than the height limit (rather than age). Due to her skill and knowledge of the ‘museum’ we navigated the site avoiding crowds and she was a pro at getting photos of our family by all the key points. She was attentive to our group and made sure we were all having the best time without it ever feeling forced. After we had seen the warriors and were ready to leave, Wendy took us to a local restaurant. The food was delicious. Wendy made sure she translated the menu and gave recommendations of local dishes. The noodles and the fried mushrooms were the top dishes of our holiday! We then returned to the city, and chose a whistle stop tour of the ancient city walls. At every point Wendy was able to judge what facts would interest the different members of our group and made sure everyone was looked after. We were then driven back to our hotel to finish our day. When Wendy heard we were leaving our hotel to catch a train that evening, she went over and above, by taking us to the closest metro station to ensure we would arrive at the station in plenty of time. Thank you so much, taking your tour made our holiday!

Wendy is the best!!! - One of the best tours we’ve ever had! Wendy picked us up promptly at 8am, and spent over 11hrs with us! We first went to see Terra Cotta soldiers. We were there 17yrs ago. It still is so awesome inspiring, but this time, we learned so much about it because of Wendy. She let us take as much time as we wanted. We then went to see a show called “Resurrected Legion” (an Army Reborn) and it was spectacular!!! Wendy watched the show with us, and led us to all the best spot to move along this interactive show. I highly recommend watching this show. Lunch was at a local place. It was cheap and super yummy! We had Xian’s famous Biang Biang Noodles, over 1m long and 5cm wide!!! Wendy explained in depth, the history of Chinese Buddhism at the Giant Goose Pagoda. Took us to a fun street food place YongXing Fang. We got to sample a lot of never seen before yummy food. She made sure we didn’t have to suffer thru pressure shopping. She was so knowledgeable, spoke great English, accommodating and patient. Thank you Wendy!!!
