Ping is a great tour guide and helps you really explore China and its rich culture! - Ping’s Tours is an excellent way to discover China and the nation’s vast culture and geography. I’ve gone on many tours throughout China that Ping has organized, such as this one to see the Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an, and they have not only been great vacations but also in-depth learning experiences. This day trip to see the Terracotta Warriors, for example, is an amazing deep dive into imperial China and the country’s rich cultural history. Ping is an amazing, personable tour guide who always makes sure you have the best experience possible. She is very caring and has a great sense of humor. The most exciting and fun trips I’ve taken around China have all been with Ping. From my over-a-decade experience of traveling around China, I can’t recommend Ping's Tours enough for anyone planning a trip to China, even if it’s just for a day trip to see the Terracotta Warriors.

8th Wonder of the World! Ping's Tour of the Terracotta Warriors is Fantastic! - 8th Wonder of the World! Ping's Tour of the Terracotta Warriors is Fantastic! Note: I have been on educational tours with university students in China with Ping since 2009 but not since 2017. This November 2024 trip was with a friend who had never been to China. Ping is an expert guide when it comes to organizing tours and sharing history and information in a lively and knowledgeable manner. She makes sure that her clients get the best view for admiring as well as photographing and knows where to congregate for questions and answers (not in the middle of loud crowds). Ping appreciates questions and is an active listener and considerate responder. Ping is sensitive to each of her clients as far as mobility, ability to see and hear, and level of understanding about the Terracotta Warriors. I am short and was grateful for her patience in making sure I got to see the Warriors in the glass enclosures without backs or heads in the way. Ping would tell us about an upcoming area that we were going to see and ask a few questions or make a few comments for us to think about so we could look at the exhibits without constant "guide chatter". Ping's approach allowed us to really experience the awe of the Terracotta Warriors; The 8th Wonder of the World! This tour was an experience of a lifetime! The sheer number of Terracotta figures in alignment, the story of why and how they were created, and the technology both in ancient times and the ongoing restoration and research and development, make this a must do and see with Ping if you are in China or going to China! Additional note: Ping really takes the time and care to make sure the transportation and logistics are as smooth and convenient and non-stressful as possible.

She is very knowledgeable, and can impart much that has not been covered, is very interesting, and really enhances the visit. She is cheerful, thorough and communicates well. I heartily recommend her tour because it is so well run, reasonably priced and VERY ENJOYABLE!
