Amazing tour! - Seeing the terracotta army has been a bucket list item of mine for a long time and I was glad to finally experience this amazing historical marvel. We took the overnight train from Beijing and were greeted at the station by our guide Michael. Michael is a highly skilled tour-guide with years of experience leading travellers around the globe and I can't recommend him enough. Michael spoke excellent english and has an immense knowledge of history and culture. Our day included stops at the terracotta army museum, the ancient city wall and the moslem quarter of Xi'an. At all locations, Michael provided a ton of interesting information. He also made sure we were able to get plenty of photos and made sure we had the best views possible. Additionally, despite being such a packed agenda, Michael ensured we had some free time everywhere we went and I never once felt rushed or lacking time. We had lunch at a local farmer's residence where we were served a fairly standard but tasty Chinese meal (kung pao chicken, noodles, veggies etc). At the end of the day, we were driven back to the train station where Michael ensured we got checked into our train correctly. If you're short on time but want to experience Xi'an I highly recommend this tour!

My two boys and I absolutely loved... -
My two boys and I absolutely loved this tour. Having a tour guide explain one on one the history and meaning behind what you are looking at is worth every dollar. Our guide and driver were amazing, our guides passion for Xi'an and the local history just made it all the more interesting. Rosemary was so nice and we felt so comfortable with her that she really felt like a friend at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this tour.

David did a great Job. Explaining... -
David did a great Job. Explaining all I wanted to know, giving me time to enjoy every place, and taken all the pictures I wanted. He was very friendly and accommodate the time to let me go to some places I wanted beyond the tour schedule. I really fell my money worth the tour and the little time I had was very well used. Thanks David.

A very complete and thorough... -
A very complete and thorough overview of the Qin dynasty legacy. What a great your, I definitively recommend this visit. Even though most people visit Xi'an just for the Terracota Warriors, it has a lot to offer. We changed the schedule so we could give rain a chance to move away, as per recommendation from our tour guide, Ning Jerry, and it proved the best strategy. We did not get wet, and we are able to complete everything we wanted. By the end of the day, they dropped us at the Bell tower, and we still wandered through the Muslim Quarter, per his recommendation. He spoke perfect English, and is a very likeable person. We had a great day!

I would give this tour 10... -
I would give this tour 10 stars!!!
Andy picked me up from the hotel right on time turns out he was already there almost an hour ahead of time.
The tour was supposed to be Xi'an old city walls - Lunch at a local farm - Terracotta army - Muslim street.
As soon as he picked me up he greeted me and told me the plan. It was raining and he suggested we start with the Terracotta army since it's a closed place and see the rest afterwards. I told him I've been to the muslim street on the previous day on my own and he immediately suggested we go somewhere else instead if I wanted.
He suggested to go to the Big wild goose pagoda which I wanted to visit myself anyway and I promptly agreed.
On the way there he also arranged a free private tour in the Buddhist temple - what a nice touch! I had a very nice 1 hour tour with a local guide at the temple for free, as I said. I only had to pay 50RMB for the entrance, which I would have paid anyway.
After the tour we drove to the farm for lunch in a private residence. Lunch was very good and the local people were very nice.
I mentioned to him that my friends recommended I see the Tang dynasty show and he promptly offered to assist with buying the tickets for 300RMB instead of 438RMB which included the show and the dumplings banquet followed by it. It was an awesome show and the dumplings were delicious. Andy also offered to stay with me until everything was over and drive me back to my hotel - all this with no extra charge!
After lunch we walked to the Terracotta army. Andy took his time and explained every one of the pits to me before going in and gave me as much time as I needed to explore each one. He was always near by to help with any questions I had.
After that we continued to the city walls, where again I received an explanation on how/when/why they were built.
Then I was driven to the awesome show, had a lot of dumplings and Andy was there to keep me company and take me to my hotel in the evening.
All in all it was THE BEST tour I've ever had in my life! Well worth the money!
Andy is such a nice guy, so accommodating and knowledgeable and speaks perfect English. He was even able to recommend more places I should visit during the time I had left in Xi'an. I ended up going to where he recommended and had an excellent time.
There's no doubt that if I'll ever be in Xi'an again, Andy will be my first and only choice of a tour guide!
