A bit cliché but definitely enjoyable ! - I didn't get the meal option but I had the possibility to order food & beverage inside (I didn't so I cannot review on the quality of the food). The staff was really welcoming and helped me find a seat. This place is packed with western tourists from tour guides but the show was quite good, I really enjoyed myself !

Overall it was pleasant experience n worthwhile. The location is confusing n a bit challenging to locate. - The show was unique and tell the story of the life of how dowager was recruited as a concubine rising to a dowager. The setup for main dinner was good but only food was average. I order separately and the deserts n half chicken were more tasty. Stage Costumes, Props n musical show were excellent, however story-line not clear as there are 5 scenes depicting of Dowager life. The English subtitle was not throughout n words are a bit small from those sitting behind. The food menu is better as compare to the dimbling set option

Worth watching once - Excellent show. Fuss free. No need to take their transport to the location. I easily found it on baidu map and headed to the location by bus from my hotel. Only costed me 1 yuan. 🤣

Great Show Awful Dumplings - The dumpling dinner was simply awful. Perhaps an unfair comparison to the fabulous Din Tai Fung restaurants we'd been enjoying across China. The show is beautifully staged and should not be missed.

Dumpling Dinner & Tang Dynasty Show - The show was great, will worth your time watching it. Dumpling dinner was so so, not that great but you can still try if you are hungry or have never try dumpling before.

Show was great, dumpling were not good (cooked a couple hours before?) - The show is definitely worth going to. Kind of like a Broadway Play in New York City, or a bit Disney like. Beautiful customs and great dancing. Magical evening for the show. We have been in China now for ~10 days and have had dumplings 7-8 times already, and the dumpling as this place were the worst we have had in China. Kind of like a mass produced, cook before hand, get them through mentality. If a choice to do only show and no food, that would be my strong recommendation. Eat at a local shop and save money and get better food.

Branson, MO meets China - Was this truly authentic? No Was it artistic mastery? No Was it fun? Yes. If you're not a purist you'll enjoy the live music and dancing, although it is a little cheesy. It ran about an hour, so you get your money's worth but you won't get tired of it. Like the show itself, the accompanying dumpling dinner was a lot of fun, had great variety, but it wasn't the highest quality or most authetic meal of my trip.

Interesting performance... - We opted just for the show tickets without the dinner options. This apparently meant that we got put in the very back of the theater. We were still able to see the stage and actually got to see the performers leave and enter the stage from the very back so it had its own uniqueness. However, there was not much translating or explaination throughout the show besides the start - so we got lost pretty much as soon as the show started. And it just kept going downhill from there. There was little that you can grasp on to follow the story line of the show. But the costumes and set designs were beautiful and the dancing was good. It was definitely an experience, but unsure if we would want to do something like this again.

Very colourful entertainment - The show and entertainment were good. The show was a bit Disney . It helps to know that dumplings are like ravioli. Which is a positive. The house wine is not very good

I was a little disappointed as the... -
I was a little disappointed as the dumpling was canceled at the last minute. The Show was very good, I enjoyed. The booking coordination it was not so good, there was no information on where to get the tickets and no one to help. English was very limited. Overall it was good, a little challenged though.
