Our driver will meet you anywhere in the Fenghuang area at 9:00 am or any time before 12:00 pm. Guilin is 400 km away from Fenghuang, and the journey takes 6-7 hours by private car, as we will also stop at Hongjiang Old Town. If we do not stop at Hongjiang, the trip takes just 5 hours. Hongjiang Ancient Town is 42 km away from Huaihua City and was a commercial and cultural center in Southwest China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Must-see attractions in Hongjiang Town include the Ancient Escort Office, the old Hefeng Bothol, and the Garrison Head’s Office. After the visit, we can have a simple lunch, such as rice noodles in the Hongjiang area, before heading to the Guilin area. The drive from Hongjiang to Guilin takes 3 hours, arriving in Guilin/Yangshuo around 4:30 pm.
