amazing morning breakfast experience - I wanted to share how much we appreciated our time with Winnie. She was incredibly kind and embraced us with her rich knowledge of local culture. Her in-depth understanding of the Chinese language added so much depth to our experience, and we loved learning about the cultural context behind it throughout the trip.
The highlight was definitely the white pagoda at our last stop, where we ended the tour with a delightful coffee and a beautiful view from the second floor of the coffee shop. It was the perfect way to conclude our morning!

A view into a different time and place. - The reason to take. Food tour is to visit places you would never dare visit and taste new dishes that you just can’t pronounce, and that’s exactly what we did on the Hutong breakfast tour with Winnie.
Although we had been in Beijing a few days and had breakfasts around town we ate round fifteen dishes I’ve not seen before. Some of the cafes were simply invisible to us and the tour guide opens the door and in you step to mother time.
We had a great time and Winnie’s English and knowledge was very good.

Great Tour with Vegetarian Options - This tour was absolutely perfect. Winnie was a wonderful guide, and she did a great job finding vegetarian options. We look forward to coming back to do the evening tour as well.

Great morning with Jim. - The hutong breakfast tour with Jim was memorable. He is kind, considerate and well informed. We had a great time navigating little streets and Jim showed a lot of kindness to our 10 year old.
I hope I will have the courage to go back to those streets and try to order those dishes by pointing to others' plates!

Great experience with a great Guide! - Kelly is very friendly and speaks fluent english. Not only showed us great places to eat but also gave us a lot of explanations about the food and the surroundings. We recommend it highly!

Wonderful breakfast food tour of Beijing - The tour was great and Winnie was an excellent guide. We went to very local restaurants that would be very difficult to find on your own. The food was amazing and very different to Chinese food that I had tasted before. Winnie went above and beyond to ensure that the tour was informative and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Beijing Hutong breakfast food tour review - Jim was a great guide! Very friendly, personable and knowledgeable! The tour was a very fun experience for my family and I. We tasted a lot of local food that we otherwise would not have known to order. Highly recommend this tour for anybody who loves food or just wants to experience a bit of the local food culture.
