Travel through the history and flavours of 上海 - The visit was great, both in the selection of flavours, the culture and way to eat, and the discovery of 上海 history. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and taught us a lot of interesting facts about the food and city's history, while showing us the was locals eat food. She was very caring for everyone, offering extra drinks if needed and travel recommendations, as well as directions home once the tour ended. Overall it was a great experience, my family all enjoyed! I would strongly recommend!

Fun night out - We had an excellent tour with Jerry! He was so helpful and interesting and answered all our questions. The food was great and super tasty. Clean and safe restaurants so no need to worry. Great group, felt like an evening out with friends. Super value for money, we stayed from 6-10! Would definitely book again and would recommend to a friend.

Great tour guide, great tour - We loved this food tour! Our guide, Jia Chen, was knowledgeable about the food and the area and was great to talk to. Each stop is about 15 minutes walking in between so be prepared for that. Every restaurant had something that was amazingly delicious and the tour overall felt 100% worth it.

A great insiders look into Shanghai food! - The Lost Plate's Shanghai evening food tour was absolutely amazing, we got to try so many different dishes. Emma our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the dishes and the restaurants we visited. The range of dishes include dumplings, pork belly, scallion and oil noodles, a refreshing mango dessert and many others. I cannot recommend a tour more highly than this one!

Amazing experience - Emma, the guide from our food tour, was amazing, giving a lot of good insights about the local food and information about history of Shangai, and the places we visited. The food was amazing too, an experience that absolutely recommend.

Best experience in Shanghai - I think this food tour has been one of the highlights of my stay in Shanghai. Emma our guide was simply amazing, she told us lots about the food, the area where we had the tour and also many curiosities about daily life in Shanghai. Thanks to Emma and our group companions the whole experience felt like we were having dinner with friends. Not to mention the delicious food we had, we were so satisfied that we went back to two of the places during the following days! The craft beer place was cherry on top, we really enjoyed our tap in a cool setting. Most definitely will take part to more food tours during my next trips to China.

Fun tour eating your way through the French Concession - Such a fun tour!
You walk around 3 different restaurants in the French Concession eating different local dishes. Then finish with the most yummy mango dessert followed by local beer.
Emma, our guide was so bubbly and chatted away about architecture, food, Shanghai life that it was like being out with a friend.
Highly recommend the tour.

Great local experience - yummy local food - What a fun tour! We wondered through the French Concession stopping at 3 different dinner spots all with their special cuisine and style. Emma, our guide was so informative explaining the dishes history, details of the architecture and past history. She was super friendly and had superb English.
We also had the most delicious local mango dessert and lastly, was a stop for local beers.
If you want to immerse yourself in local food with a fabulous guide, this is the tour for you.
