Emma is a great host and some very tasty food! - Emma was a great host! Taking us to some great restaurants which you would probably otherwise miss. With great local knowledge and super friendly. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Shanghai to do this tour. A great way to meet people and have a fun night!

One of the best tours of the trip - Excellent experience!! Samantha was a phenomenal guide, not only did we have an absurd crowd in all the restaurants we passed but also a class of traditional fruits, sweets and drinks (those that are sold in the street tanhas and in the 7 elevens) as we were in a smaller group I think it was easier to communicate, connect and have fun. Thank you Samantha for making me feel at home even so far from home. I highly recommend the night tour of Shanghai!

Great food tour, fabulous hosts - Sylvia and Emma were wonderful hosts, knowledgable, intelligent and friendly.
We had 4 stops for the most amazing local food, we had so much to eat too!

One of the best experiences in China! - We loved this tour! The food was amazing and very representative of Shangai, for us the highlights were the soup dumplings, fried dumplings and of course the mango dessert. All together one of the best meals of our trip. But the real cherry on top was Emma! Our marvellous guide who brought this experience to an other level showing us how it is to live in Shanghai.

Emma was THE best - Not only was Emma a knowledgeable and fantastic guide but she was open, friendly and approachable. Her food knowledge was great and she took us to some places we would have never found without her.
We had so much food and a wide variety of tastes and textures and some tasting of Chinese alcohols.
A brilliant tour. Thank you Emma.

Even bad weather can't spoil your appetite - Samantha is a real foodie and has fun introducing you to local cuisine. She knows a lot about the local food and the city.
Shanghai is famous for its pastries, but it’s not just those that are delicious. There is a lot of good food on this tour and at the end a delicious beer

Don’t hesitate, book! - Emma was absolutely fantastic and the selection of restaurants and food types, as well as the area, historical info and walking portion of the tour were all 5 star. I’ve been to Shanghai many times but this was the first time with my college age son so I booked this tour. Highly recommend!

Underwhelming waste of money - The food is basic and has bland flavors. The guide did her best but the food is just not good. I left disappointed and with a stomach ache. There is a lot of good food in Shanghai, it’s just not on this tour.
