Super!! - The guided tour of this site is completely worth it by the guide who makes it, I am a tour guide and I accompany some clients on their visit through the salt flats, Martin's work seemed magnificent, attentive, cheerful, very concerned with giving complete and detailed information and that there is no doubt, as a fellow guide I found exceptional, also you can see that he likes what he does and that he feels real passion. I would definitely recommend the experience. Gracias Martin!!!

Great visit! - Moving to playa blanca we decided to stop at the center of Salinas de Janubio. We arrived for the 12.00 shift (there are 4 shifts the first at 10 to follow 12/14/16). We went without any reservation, although I had seen that it was possible to book online. The girl at the checkout greeted us with great kindness explaining what the tour consisted of (€22 per person). The guide very competent and was exhaustive throughout! In short, I would recommend it to everyone. I forgot, even the final tasting took to close the tour in the best way possible!

Best guided tour of our travels by far! - Monday, 2 December 2024, Martin our attributed guide welcomes us with a big smile and a look full of tradition. What a pleasure to have people like Martin to defend and maintain the tradition of a place without equal. Both my partner and I have found Martin’s place, experience and accompaniment really fantastic. Humane, sincere and full of passion for its people, for its place and for what tradition entails. I can only highly recommend the visit with Martin de las Salinas de Janobio. Next year we will be glad to return. Leandro and Aurélie

Little gem off the beaten track - Rocked up on the off-chance after visiting El Golfo and booked the private tour last minute - so glad we did this and not just the whistle-stop coach tour. We were part of a small group of 6. Our guide was fantastic, very engaging, he talked us through the history of the place and how the salt is collected and processed answering any questions as we went along. It’s a fair walk but almost entirely on the flat. There’s a good view of the site from the platform at the top of the windmill. I struggled a bit with the stairs being a creaky old bird but there’s not that many and it was do-able. Unfortunately we had to decline the glass of wine but we enjoyed the tasting session and were each kindly presented with a boxed sample at the end of the tour. A really interesting afternoon. Lovely team. Well worth the money.

Interesting guided tour - Interesting guided tour of the salt pan with historical background and information on the working methods. The group was manageable in contrast to the busloads in rapid transit. Recommended tour.

Great. - We were pleasantly surprised by this visit. Martín who accompanied us during the visit is a real enthusiast of the site. He is happy to pass on everything he knows on the subject. The visit is very interesting, full of anecdotes and history. The visit is in Spanish, Martin made the effort to speak softly and to articulate well, we understood everything. He promised us to work on his French and offer the visit in French very soon!attention Martin ... maybe we will check with our children! We concluded the tour with a salt tasting and left with a sample.

All right. - Very interesting guided tour in Spanish and English, the guide gives explanations in both languages. Operation and history of the saltworks, very accessible even with "medium" English. We finish with a small salt tasting, all for a duration of 90min. To do!

A must-have lanzarote - Salt fields in the end of the day light: a treat for the eyes (Which must be even more spectacular in other seasons, when the water takes on pinkish colors) Very nice team, accepted the cancellation of a member of the fault who could not participate
