- Mt. Ishiwari - Mt. Ishiwari is the tallest mountain in the Yamanakako area, and our goal is to reach its summit.
This hike is incredibly rewarding, featuring a massive Katsura tree believed to be the source of the Katsura River, along with stunning views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka from the peak.
Additionally, at Ishiwari Shrine, situated at the 8th station, there’s a large, cracked rock that is just wide enough for one person to squeeze through. Legend has it that if you can walk through it three times in a clockwise direction, you’ll be blessed with good luck!
