We provide airport pickup service 24 hours a day, so please make sure to inform us of your flight number. We will be at the airport to pick you up according to the actual arrival time of your flight.
After collecting your luggage, before taking you to the hotel for check-in, we will guide you through the supermarket and restaurants, showing you how to walk there. Then, we will transport you to either Chateau Nova or Explorer Hotel.

Yellowknife - Aurora Lodge’s aurora viewing advantages:
➡️Provides a spacious and warm space, to avoid waiting for the Aurora in cold outdoors or crowded vehicles.
➡️Provides snacks, hot drinks, hot dogs to make the waiting time more relaxed and enjoyable.
➡️ First Nation tepees are available as photography foregrounds, as well as fur clothing.
➡️FREE take Aurora pictures and will send the drive link.

Aurora Hunting:
➡️Go different lake with different backgrounds.
➡️Going further away increases the chance of avoiding cloud cover,
However, the disadvantages are very obvious. The space inside the vehicle is cramped, and the tem in Yellowknife is very low during the winter, making the inside of the vehicle very cold and uncomfortable. Passing vehicle headlights can cause significant light pollution.

❤️We combine the advantages of both.Visitors can wait for the Aurora in comfort lodge, and on cloudy days, we can chase the light in different directions depending on the cloud cover conditions.

City tour - (Option Activity) - Aurora viewing Aurora lodge +Aurora hunting

Yellowknife - Yellowknife City Tour includes the Welcome Monument, located near the airport where the first plane landed within the Arctic Circle. There’s a massive “Welcome to Yellowknife” sign, a must-visit spot for photographs. Following this, we’ll take you to the Visitor Centre to receive a complimentary Yellowknife souvenir and a certificate .

Next, we’ll head to the entrance of the Ice Road (accessible in winter) where you can experience driving on ice over a meter thick. In March, we make a stop at the Ice Castle.
The tour continues with a drive through the Old Town and the First Nations Reserve, offering a glimpse into the city’s history. Finally, we’ll reach the Pilot’s Monument, the highest point in Yellowknife, providing a panoramic view of the entire city.
At the foot of the hill, you’ll find the renowned Bullock restaurant and the most affordable Canadian Goose shop.
You can choose to spend some leisure time here or return to the hotel with our vehicle for rest.

Yellowknife - Aurora hunting means taking a bus to various lakeside or roadside parking areas to wait for the appearance of the Northern Lights.
The advantage of this activity is that the photography backgrounds vary, and in overcast conditions, one can increase their chances of witnessing the Aurora by heading to areas with thinner clouds.
However, the disadvantage is that passing vehicle headlights can cause significant light pollution. Additionally, the cold winter temperatures, small bus space, low temperatures, and lack of restroom facilities can make the experience uncomfortable.
Our Aurora lodge with huge space for spreading out your stuff, warm stove, snacks and hot drinks whenever you want plus hotdogs at midnight.

We combine the advantages of both, and we have a comfortable lodge and can chase light to increase the probability.
