Good service recovery - I must complimen vthe professionalism if the agency in that the monastery tour experienced a few issues , especially for those sitting in the rear seats on the bus. After every tour they capture the satisfaction with the tour using a simple survey. It appeared as if several tour membets expressed some issues with the tour. The company followed up and contacted me to ascertain the nature of the issues. They offered me an opportunity to try the service on one of the tours which they offered on the next day. As I had a free day, I was able to avail myself of this offer. The tour was consistent with the other positive reviews of this company. Armen, our guide was professional and knowledgeable in answering all the questions which I asked. Excellent bus, free wifi. Overall, I was impressed as to how the company reponds to feedback.

Great tour! - We enjoyed this tour very much. We opted for a private tour and were delighted with our guide Hasmik, who showed us around the Garni Temple and Gehard monastery and offered a lot of background information, too. Thumbs up! (The Yerani Travel company was good to work with, too.)

Awesome experience - This was one of our best tours we had in the city. Amazing people, good tour guide and very comfortable vehicle. Its a shame we couldn't take other tours due to constraint with other bookings. We would love to travel through Yerani when we are back again in Yerevan.

Very friendly people - All included for one day trip to Yerevan - I had to make a 12 hour stop in Yerevan on my way back to Copenhagen. I found touristic information before the airport exit, where 2 kind girls put me in contact with Yerani travel. A very convenient tour was arranged for me: being picked-up at the airport, a guided tour to Garni, see the city center, and then back to the airport. Furthermore, they accepted payment with card at the end of the tour, which I appreciated a lot, since I personally do not like to use cash and I had limited time in Yerevan. I had the pleasure of having a young girl named Liana as my guide. She gave me not only a good and informative tour, but also she provided me many interesting historical and cultural facts about Armenia, with very good English! She answered all my questions about different topics (economy, culture, historical facts, politics, etc) clearly and with empathy. Moreover, she was curious to hear about cultural and historical facts about my home country, and specially when I mentioned facts that could be compared to Armenia. Due to Liana's personality, kindness, knowledge and curiosity the day became a very enriching and valuable experience. I truly recommend the services and the guides from Yerani travel. If you end up doing a stop in Armenia, think of contacting them.

Combo Sightseeing - Every tour company in Armenia has package deals for sightseeing and the Garni-Geghard-Lavash Baking combo is one of them. You have to see all or see one or two at a cost that is more than the cost of the package. This combo is workable and a fine way to get to know Armenia. Everything on your sightseeing outings depend on whether you have a good guide and whether you are in a language majority or minority in the tour coach. The tour companies have little idea of how many Russian speaking tourists or how many English speaking tourists will be on a tour on a given day. They try do their best. The Garni Temple takes a visitor to the days before the advent of Christianity. Its a beautiful locale and in addition to the temple one can also see the baths. Vendors outside Garni sell locally made sweets - they say it is walnuts wrapped in pomegranate sheets - most of it is made from peanuts! The Lavash baking follows the tour to the temple after which the tour moves to Geghard. Lavash is the local unleavened bread cooked in a oven in the ground. The Geghard Monastery dates back to the earliest centuries of Christianity. There are many interesting stories about the place and one must hope you have a good tour guide. On a lucky day one may chance upon a baptism taking place in the church within the complex.
