• Kecharis Monastery - This monastery is located in the city of Tsaghkadzor, which translates to “gorge of flowers.” The Kecharis Monastery complex, constructed between the 11th and 13th centuries, is situated in Tsaghkadzor, known as Armenia’s winter sports hub. The monastery’s unique architecture captivates all who visit. It was a prominent cultural and spiritual center in medieval Armenia and now serves as the presbyterial church of the Kotayk diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The complex was built by the Pahlavuni and Prosyan princes.
