- Sharambeyan Street - With its traditional houses and artisan workshops, Sharambeyan Street transports you back hundreds of years. Located within a national park, the area, affectionately known as “Little Switzerland” for its forested hills and charming stone and wood houses, is home to many Armenian visual artists, musicians, and filmmakers.
- Haghartsin Monastery - Next, you will stop at the Haghartsin Monastery, which dates back to the 10th-14th centuries. The name translates to “the play of the eagle.” The scenery resembles a stunning work of art, with both the monastery and the surrounding nature offering a breathtaking view. It is one of those places in Armenia that feels like an incredible, unreal movie set. The refectory of Haghartsin is considered the largest in Armenian Church architecture; it was a groundbreaking innovation of its time! If you are curious as to why, there is nothing better than seeing it for yourself!
- Lake Sevan - While in Armenia, you simply cannot miss the chance to visit one of the country’s most famous landmarks – the beautiful Lake Sevan. Just an hour’s drive from the capital city of Yerevan, Sevan is located at an elevation of 1900m above sea level and is surrounded by a vast chain of mountains. The tour begins with a climb up a flight of stairs to the Sevan peninsula – a pleasant morning workout that rewards you with an unforgettable panoramic view of the lake from the top. The tour will also include a visit to the Sevanavank Monastery, built by Princess Mariam to honor her late husband in the 9th century. Sevanavank is also home to one of the most beautiful Amenaprkich (all savior) Khachkars in Armenia. This is one of the 13 rarest cross-stones depicting Jesus.
- Goshavank Monastery - Please note that starting from November 15, instead of visiting Haghartsin Monastery, you will visit Goshavank Monastery.
