Perfect day trip! - We had a wonderful day trip out of Yerevan with Tamara! Tamara was friendly and knowledgeable - one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. She even treated us to her angelic singing voice when we visited Geghard so that we could appreciate the monastery’s acoustics. The tour was well balanced at each stop with a guided portion, as well as time to explore on your own. The tour was the perfect length as you return to the city before 4 pm so you can still enjoy your evening. Such a great way to spend your time while in Yerevan!

Excellent short tour from Hyur - Very good short tour (10 am - 4 pm) so let’s you plan for something else in the evening or just relax if tired. Thank you to the most humble and polite tour guide from Hyur. The Charnets Arch provides lovely unobstructed view of Mount Ararat, in our case the top of the mountain was covered in cloud. Garni Temple was majestic and must visit if you are in Armenia. At a short distance we did Lavash baking (best thing to do on this tour as per my daughter) and enjoyed the fresh warm bread with some nice home made cheese and leafy greens. From my perspective the highlight of this tour is the Symphony of Sounds rocks. Long pillars of hexagonal stones formed millions of years ago giving the shape of incredible honeycomb like structures, a grand artwork by the Almighty. We were lucky to witness a wedding ceremony at the Geghard Monastery which in itself is very beautiful with its stunning rock sculptures built partly inside the mountain.
