Highlights
  • Monastery Sevanavank - Sevanavank is located on the peninsula of Lake Sevan, founded by Gregory the Illuminator in 305. Excavations revealed that this place was inhabited in the Stone and Bronze Ages. According to the inscription on the southern wall of the Church of the Holy Apostles, the expansion and construction of the monastery in the 9th century was organized by the daughter of Ashot I Bagratuni, the founder of the royal house of Bagratuni. - Lake Sevan - Lake Sevan is a wonderful “pearl” of Armenia. Guests from abroad can combine a pleasant holiday on the shores of Sevan surrounded by picturesque mountains with interesting excursions to the ancient historical monuments. It is recommended to visit such cultural attractions as Sevanavank and Hayravank monasteries, as well as the cemetery of the ancient khachkars Noratus. - Goshavank Monastery - Surrounded by amazing forests and hills Goshavank Monastery is located in the village of Gosh, 15 km east of Dilijan resort city. This pearl of Armenian architecture used to be one of the exceptional universities in the Middle Ages. Goshavank is a unique monastic complex in its style, it includes all the merits of medieval architecture. It should be noted that the buildings of the monastic complex are in harmony with the luxurious nature of the place. - Haghartsin Monastery - Haghartsin is a small monastery surrounded by the rich nature of Dilijan, beautiful trees and mountains. The monastery complex was built during the 10th-13th centuries. - Lake Parz - The lake is surrounded by forests. Water in the lake is transparent, a little greenish. As the forests are very close to the shoreline, the massive trees, leaning to the lake, are reflected in the water. The name “Parz lich” literally means “clear lake”. There are many cozy restaurants and cafes in the area of the lake where you can spend your time, ride horses or organize a family picnic. This site is one of the most famous natural landmark of Dilijan. - Yerevan - Trip from Yerevan to the Points of Interest and back, and a stop for meal and free time will fill the rest of the time

Lovely experience from Gegharqunik and Tavush regions - The trip was really nice. I’d specifically like to thank the guide Hayk for good command of English and the information about the sites we visited, as well as the driver (Norik) for having a safe trip.

Very well organised tour - Very well organised tour, the bus is comfortable, the lunch was excellent and time spent very productive. Many thanks to Arpine -our tour guide. She was very professional and was able to manage the tour so well entire day. The selection of stories from a tour guide was very informative & easy to memorise. She covers every information of Armenian history & general information in such detailed yet in very compact way.

Not just informative, but an experience. Highly recommended. - This was an extraordinary experience due to both the driver and the tour guide Karmela. From the outset one felt there was one who engaged her audience, one who did not rattle down a script, but was steeped in the subjects she shared. It was a conversation with the participants. The three monasteries we visited came alive in their specific characteristics and their time in history. If all guides display the engagement of Karmela I can only recommend a tour with this company to anyone. Christoph

An experience you do not want to miss - Our tour guide had an exceptional ability to enrich her knowledge with imagination and an intuitive feel for those she engaged with. It felt one had a conversation rather than a dry description of the objects. From the moment she engaged with us travellers I knew I met a talent who engaged with the history and 'mythos' that underlies Armenia in its history and also the present time. Thank you again, highly recommended (if you have the fortune to have Karmela as your guide), Christoph

The total Caucasus experience - Had the misfortune of running a few minutes late due to unforeseen taxi cancellations from our hotel but the tour guide was gracious enough to wait for us as we dashed literally at the last minute. So, thank you to One Way! For the tour itself, it was jampacked but not to the point that it felt rushed. Unfortunately, it rained several times after Sevan Monastery (Dilijan area) which was a normal event in that area, so be prepared for abrupt weather changes. Due to this (not the tour operator’s fault), we had some limitations as far exploring and moving. But, I think all things considered (and that we all came prepared for the weather, as you would in May) we maximized each stop. The food stop was good - there were a variety of food choices. The roads were bumpy at times and winding especially going to Dilijan - so be prepared. The tour guide (sorry we forgot her name!) was very friendly, accommodating, and respectful. She gave good historical information for each spot and made our appreciation of the monasteries that much more. We finished around 6:30pm so that’s almost the entire day, but we found the schedule just right. Thank you!

Not Reliable/Unprofessional - They sent me an email stating the trip started at 10 AM and the ticket that was issued stated it started at 10 AM, but the day of the tour I got a call at 8:55 AM from the guide asking if I was coming and that the trip was starting at 9 AM. I was too far from the meeting spot and was just getting up, so it was impossible to get to the meeting spot at 9 AM. I asked if they could pick me up at my hotel, and the guide said they could not do that. I effectively lost a day of my trip. When I sent screenshots of the ticket and email to the guide with the 10 AM start time and asked for a refund, she sent me a message that "Office will contact you", but it is now three days later and nobody has contacted me (not that a refund makes it all good, I still lost a vacation day). This operator is not professional and does not have its act together.
