Recognized as a historical monument, it was preserved by the Soviet Union. The gorge’s two banks, Old and New Khndzoresk, are linked by a long suspension bridge, offering views of Khndzoresk’s four churches and the Nine Children spring. Constructed in 2012 through the initiative and sponsorship of local businessman Zhora Aleksanyan, the bridge measures 160 meters in length, 63 meters in height, and weighs 14 tons. It can accommodate approximately 700 people of average weight at once.
