• Yogyakarta City - We will take a gentle walking for 5-10 km along the Code [tjo;dei) river through the kampongs and gangs where we can see and explore the social activities and houses and other interesting aspects which we never had in life. There are many stories within and a history which we can trace back in the past how, why the gather and built a community apart of the others.

We commence our journey in a riverside community in the city of Yogyakarta, immersing ourselves in local culture and gaining first-hand insight into their way of life. From there, we proceed to the palace which once was the seat of the King’s rule over Yogyakarta, and explore the royal family’s possessions, including the Royal Horse Carts Museum, among others. Before settling down for a sumptuous meal, we drop by a Batik factory to learn the craft of batik-making. We cap off the day with a visit to the verdant temple, lingering until the sun sets.
