Pick Up in Yogyakarta or Bali

Prambanan Temple - Sample itinerary if starting from Yogyakarta. All details will be tailored to your tour date.

Day 1.
9 am: Collection by our driver from your hotel lobby in central Yogyakarta.

Tour of the Yogyakarta Sultanate Palace, including its museum and water castle, with a local private guide.

Prambanan Temple tour.

Return to hotel.

Borobudur Temple

Borobudur Temple - Pick up at hotel lobby and travel to Borobudur. Explore the temple structure up to its peak.

Optional: Begin at 3:30 am from your hotel to Borobudur for a Dhagi Hill picnic breakfast, enjoying the sunrise over Borobudur from this hill, accompanied by Javanese musical instruments, gamelan, and storytelling. Continue with a Borobudur village tour after exploring the temple structure, using a traditional Javanese horse cart to observe the natural life of Borobudur’s local people and understand the social and cultural values present.

Here, you can enjoy beautiful scenery and rural life along the journey; observe rice planting/harvesting, rice grinding, tofu making, pottery crafting, bamboo work, and other activities of interest.

Additional cost: USD 50 per person.

Return to hotel, or participate in another tour not yet completed in the itinerary.

Yogyakarta-Surabaya-Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - 5 am: Check out from Yogyakarta hotel.

Travel from Yogyakarta train station (executive class) to Surabaya.

In Surabaya, you will be picked up by our driver.

Proceed to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.

Check in at Artotel Cabin Hotel. If fully booked, we will go to Bromo Permai Hotel.

Bromo Sunrise Tour

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - 3 am: Pickup by our guide or jeep driver for the Bromo Sunrise jeep tour.

After completing the Bromo tour, travel to Bondowoso to check in at Ijen Resort Hotel. If full, we will find a similar alternative.

Ijen Crater Trek - Drop Off in Bali

Ijen Crater - 12 am: Hotel checkout for the Ijen blue fire trek, only when gas levels are safe. Our Ijen guide, who is informed of the latest gas levels, will notify your driver. If gas levels are too high, checkout and departure will be around 3 am.

After completing the Ijen Crater trek, travel to Ketapang Harbor to cross to Bali by public ferry.

In Bali, you will be picked up by our Bali driver and transferred to your hotel in Bali.

Tour concludes.
