An excellent evening! - We had a fantastic tour with Anisa! It was great, visiting over 8 food destinations, markets whilst seeing the bustling Yogyakarta night life. She was very knowledgeable and a great host for the evening. We highly recommend this activity!

A night of food and culture - I had an amazing time on this foodtour! I always try and do a foodtour when I'm on holiday. I feel like this gives you a deeper connection with the culture then doing a 'regular' walking tour. And this one was the same! Because of the small group size and the way you discover the city, you get a bond with your guide that feels more 'equal'. It's actually like your're walking with a friend that's showing you around the city! My guide, Anisa, was very nice and knowledgeable. Besides the food, she could answer all my questions about the local culture. Definitely recommend!

Must-do whilst in Yogyakarta! - Kalika was a great guide, very knowledgeable and helpful. She was also very happy to buy more food and water for people at no extra charge. The places we were taken were all interesting. Our only complaint is that the chicken satay was very fatty.

Had a nice culinary tour with Anisa - We enjoyed our tour. We had Anisa as a guide and were lucky as we were the only ones that evening. she's doing great. Lots of knowledge, explains everything in a nice way and can speak English very well. In terms of food, I was able to taste everything from real locals. Okay, not everything was our thing, but that makes sense. Had a very nice evening, thank you Anisa. You get a big 10 from us

One of the best city tours I've ever done - Excellent tour through Yogyarkata with the opportunity to try lots of local delicacies. Our guide Anisa was super friendly and gave us lots of valuable tips for our stay on Java. A clear recommendation :)

Really interesting and fun tour! - This was a really interesting tour with Anisa who was engaging, knowledgeable and really friendly. We are a couple and were joined by a young solo female, so it was a nice small group. We tried a mixture of food/ drink at a street stall, a traditional café style restaurant, a local neighborhood family restaurant, a local sweet/ biscuit store and also a historic traditional herbal drink (jamu) store which was fascinating. There's lots to eat but you can just try small amounts if you prefer. We finished off at a fun square popular with young people and families. We were very pleased we did this tour and would definitely recommend it.

Excellent Tour Guide. Fun family experience! - Our guide, Kalika, was so personable. Our family (especially our young girls) took a liking to her instantly. She gave us an excellent sense of the food scene, palates, and culinary history of Jogjakarta. She was A+ on making all the arrangements ahead of time, being flexible, and helping us finish with some fun family activities. Highly recommend.
