Honeymoon Food Tour - This tour was perfect! Our guide (Kalika) was knowledgeable, funny, and engaging! She took us to several spots that we would never have found on our own.

Great food, great fun - A wonderful tour with Anisa. We learned about local history and culture, while trying seven Yogya dishes (great variation) over the course of three hours, before ending with some games near the palace. It rained all evening but Anisa provided ponchos and we travelled by becak, so stayed dry. Highly recommended.

A perfect way to start a trip to Jogja! - Great way to start my first trip to Yogyakarta. Coming to Jogja by myself and wanted to learn a little about the area and find a couple places to eat during my long weekend here I figured this would be a good way to start. Anise our guide was awesome!! Explained about the area and its layout, took us to 5 places I never would have tried but all winners! The tour includes rides on the bike carriages and we finished the night with a spin in the backyard of the palace. Perfect way to start my time here in Jogja!

Great tour - Anisa was an amazing tour guide! She told me lots about the city and the all the delicious food we tried. She also helped me get back to my hostel after the tour and really made my experience. Highly recommend this tour as a great way to try lots of traditional food and see the city!

A Night of Quiky and Cultural Culinary Exploration in Jogja - The operator nailed it with stellar communication, even accommodating our dietary quirks. Thanks to their quick thinking, we sidestepped a potential trip to the doctor's and embarked on a private culinary adventure. Anisa, our guide extraordinaire, led us through Jogja's street food wonders with a side of juicy historical tidbits. Despite the hoofing, our night ended with a fun encounter near Alun-Alun square. It was a feast for the stomach and the soul!

Fun and jam packed night food tour - Where are the others? I asked Kalika, the local food tour guide for the night here in Jogja. She replied: Leslie, is it okay if it’s just you and me tonight? I beamed 😆 Certainly, I have all your attention. I really enjoyed the whole food tour at night with Kalika. The java coffee is unique, as well as the herbal drinks. I also liked the Bakmi, it is worth the wait. The night became more interesting with walking blindfolded and trying to walk in netween the banyan tress to check if i have a pure heart 😆 What a night! Experience Javanese culture through this night tour. You won’t regret it.

So glad I went on this tour rather than winging it solo - 🧕 Anisa was a fantastic tour guide! She's a great conversationalist - through her candid stories, I was able to learn a lot about the life of a Yogyakartan. No issues communicating in English. I felt like she took good care of us the whole time, and I felt safe (which I really value as a solo female traveller). 🍢 The food selection was curated well👌 Savory or sweet, skewers or soup, snack or main - name it, it's covered. I also appreciate that the food portions served were appropriate for tastings only, which minimizes food waste. I don't think I would've been able to try all these dishes if I'd gone by myself.
