amazing way to explore Jogja - it was an amazing experience, i was the only one that register for this tour but it still went on, so it felt like like a private tour. we explored part of jogjakarta that is truly hidden such as kampung kauman and sungai code, because when we were there, it was just us and the locals. The tour captain, Alfat, was also very knowledgable about the historical and cultural part of the places that we visited. definitely recommended.

Hidden gems super enjoyable and super sustainable - We were on a family visit to Indonesia. In yogyakarta we booked this bicycle tour. Our guide Alfat was magnificent. As an English literature student he spoke and understood perfectly our questions. He was really knowledgeable. In indonesia a kampong is a small village of around 60 houses. We learned a lot about the Kampong organisation. Also he explained the 5 things a javanese man must have. We tasted some delicacies. Our wish would come true if we could walk blindfolded between two large trees. Unfortunately nobody succeeded. :) He guided us confidently through the traffic without any problems. Bicycles were good, with good brakes and good functioning gears. If you want to book a bicycle tour in or around Yogya you should definitely book this one. It not only is the best, but part of the money they make is for improving the life in local community. Truly sustainable.

Educational, fun experience! - Very cool city tour by bike. Students will take you to the kampongs of the city. Outside and inside the sultan walls. Our guide spoke very good English and told about the culture and lifestyle of the families living in the kampongs. Very educational and you get to places you would not otherwise go.

Yogyakarta bike tour A+++ - We did the Hidden Gems bike tour and had a really enjoyable afternoon. Our guide Alfat was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of the history of Yogyakarta with us. We got to see parts of the city that as tourists we wouldn’t ordinarily get to see. We also learned about daily life in the “kampung” and were able to sample some local snacks and drinks. A great way to spend an afternoon.
