Recommended tour! - Can't thank enough this team! They provided a beautiful tour, enriched explanation by our guide and insights on Yogyakarta. The communication was excellent and booking procedure really simple. Plus they helped us on booking our train tickets and gave us many information regarding the city. Definitely recommend them!

Recommended if you want to visit the temples - A very nice tailor-made tour. Had a batik workshop in between, very fun! Anam, the guide, also spoke Dutch and was great, just like the driver who drove very safely! Abam told us a lot about the temples and Java, was pleasant and also arranged a great lunch spot.

Our guide made the day smooth and enjoyable. - It was a good a decision to have done both temples in one day. Our driver and guide, Baghus, made the drive to and from and in between temples fly by and entertaining. It's great to have a guide that engages with his guests. We were four solo Travelers in the vehicle and with his knowledge, questions and ability to communicate he helped bring us all together like a family.

Once in a lifetime experience!! - Very nice tour and the guide Dian was excellent! I'm so happy that I got to see and cimb Borobudur, Prambanan, & Candi Sewu temples.

Borobudur is so Beautiful - The experience was a very positive one. The temples give a great feeling of reflection and our driver was excellent. There are many moments for terrific photos and I will never forget the day.

Great experience! - We can only recommend doing the Borobudur temple climb and Prambanan temple with YKExplore! Both temples are truly amazing and absolutely worth the trip if you are in Yogyakarta or Central Java. Yovi, our driver, made the experience even better. He is a Jogja local and was a great guide: He explained in depth the history and culture of the region and the temples and answered all of questions about Jogja and Indonesia overall. His English is excellent, which helped as our Bahasa Indonesia is very limited. We would definitely be happy to take a tour with him again in the future! More information about our trip: We chose the group tour, which did not include a hotel pick-up but had a couple meeting points at convenient locations in Yogyakarta (we met in Prawirotaman, only a 15 min walk from our hotel). We had a group of four total, which was a good size though a bit bigger would have been fine as well. We booked ahead of time on Get Your Guide, but it’s also possible to book more last minute until the day before. The price for the tour is very fair in comparison to the other providers we saw both online and in the city. The price did not include the temple entry fees, which we paid in person the morning of the tour (you can pay either in cash or by card). The tour lasted overall about 8.5 hours, including a stop for lunch and being dropped off at our hotel at the end.

Great host, guide, tour - Yovi was a great tour guide, driver, and host. It was so nice learning about Yogyakarta from him- makes me wish I had taken the tour earlier in my trip. He made our group feel at home, cared for, and provided for. Would gladly look into another tour with this company.

Very cool day visiting temples - It was a really good day visiting the temples and our driver Arief shared many useful and interesting information about Indonesia, Yogyakarta and the temples ! He brought us to a nice place to eat and we even stopped to try the special coffee from here

Fantastic! - Loved it! Yovi was the best guide! He knows what he is doing/saying. The tour was not too long or too short. Definitly should bring sunscreen tho :D Totally recommend this! :)

Amazing trip - Arif is the best driver. very kind and we had a delicious local lunch and very nice chats. Took me to all the places in no time and helped me with checking in everywhere. Totally recommend it!
