Proceed to sultanate palace and its museum, sultan’s water castle in the past: tamansari, continue with malioboro walk.

Watch Borobudur Sunrise From Puthuk Setumbu Hill

Borobudur Temple - 3.30 am : Pick up at your hotel lobby.

Proceed with car to Puthuk Setumbu hill for Borobudur sunrise watching from a distance in a misty mountain view followed by local breakfast.

Optional: Dhagi hill picnic breakfast accompanied by traditional angklung music & javanese storytelling, extra usd 30/person

8.30 am Enter the Borobudur’s yard and start to explore the temple until its peak floor 9 (entrance Borobudur’s yard+temple peak all included)!

Finish exploring Borobudur temple, have a short break.

1 pm: Back to yogyakarta and do tour that has not been done in day 1 if there is any.

Prambanan Temples - 3 pm: Car trip to Prambanan temple.
4 pm Prambanan temple sunset tour

Optional: Prambanan dinner + Prambanan Ramayana/Roro Jonggrang Ballet Performance - Special class (right behind vip class) extra usd 55/person.

Transfer back to your hotel.

Yogyakarta - Surabaya

Yogyakarta Station - 5 am: Hotel checkout. You can ask the hotel to deliver your breakfast to your room at 5 pm, or ask them to wrap your breakfast at the evening before.

5.30 am: Proceed with car to Yogyakarta train station for a train trip to Surabaya.

Gubeng Railway Station - 11 am. Pick up at gubeng railway station by our driver

Continue travel to Bromo

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - Arrive in Bromo area, check in a local hotel/guesthouse.

Rest & relax. A short brief about the next morning Bromo jeep sunrise tour which start at 3 am.

Bromo Sunrise Tour

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - 3 am: Our guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby or knock on your door.
Proceed with jeep for an amazing Bromo sunrise view from a hill. Afterwards, we will visit the savannah, bromo sea of sand, and if we have the opportunity, we can meet Tengger people-the bromo native.

Back to hotel, breakfast, checkout.
Travel to Bondowoso for Ijen sunrise trek the next day. Approx. 3 hour driving with breaks.

Optional: Continue travel to Tumpak sewu - a wonderful waterfall after checkout bromo, and stay overnight for the next early morning waterfall trek, extra usd 100/pax.

Bondowoso - Arrive in Bondowoso, check in a hotel for the next 1 am trip to ijen blue fire trek (only when the gas level is safe. If its not, we go at 3 am for ijen sunrise trek.
