Additionally, Tsurumi is conveniently located on the route to Yokohama from Haneda or Narita Airport. If you have a layover at Haneda Airport, our school is just a 30-minute journey from the airport.

At the start of the session, the host, a skilled calligrapher, will provide a brief introduction to the art of Japanese calligraphy.

Calligraphy is a traditional cultural art in Japan, and participating in this age-old practice offers a deeper appreciation of the expressive qualities of the Japanese language.

Before diving into authentic calligraphy, the host will outline the steps involved and the tools required. Guests will have plenty of time in a serene environment to ask questions and converse with the host.

The experience concludes with each guest using a brush and ink to write Japanese words, gaining a fundamental understanding of calligraphy.

The host, who communicates in English, is a calligrapher recognized in prestigious exhibitions in Japan.
