Iseyama Kotai Shrine, located on a hilltop overlooking Yokohama’s Minato Mirai district, is a large and serene Shinto shrine. Despite its impressive size, it remains almost hidden from below, except for its distinctive torii gate. The shrine offers a peaceful retreat and beautiful views of the city.

• Sankeien Gardens - Sankeien Garden in Yokohama, designed by silk trader Tomitaro Hara and opened in 1906, is a traditional Japanese garden spanning 175,000 square meters. It features historic buildings relocated from Kyoto and Kamakura, including tea houses and pagodas. Renowned for its seasonal beauty, the garden offers stunning views year-round and hosts cultural events and traditional tea ceremonies. Admission fee: 900 yen.
