Love the sites and views - John S was a delightful guide. He was very knowledgeable of the area and all things All Creatures Great and Small. We love seeing all the locations and the beauty of the dales. This is a must do for fans of the books or shows.

Yorkshire Dales Sightseeing - John S. was a delightful tour guide and excellent driver, pointing out interesting sites to see and keeping us entertained and informed with stories and observations about James Herriot and the Yorkshire Dales. He gave us plenty of opportunities to get out and take pictures. We highly recommend this outing -- it did not feel like 8 hours, and we learned so much about the various filming areas for the two James Herriot series as well as his actual life.

Great tour with a wonderful guide - Fantastic tour! John was a wonderful guide and driver. He kept us all entertained and interested through the entire 8 hours. His knowledge is amazing and we all left with a much better understanding of the history of not just York but all of Britain. The sites you stop at are made so much more interesting by the stories he has of each place. Traveling with a 13 and 10yo and they both loved it too- particularly the quiz at the end!

For John S. - John S. Was wonderful! He was so knowledgeable , attentive, and thoughtful. He really knew about the area we were visiting. His driving was awesome! He knew the tiny towns well and was pointing out interesting facts for each. The whole trip was fantastic! Thank you, John S. for a well done job.

Another Awesome Tour from Mountain Goat! - This is the third tour I've done with Mountain Goat. The first in 2020, the second in 2022 and the third just last month. Every time it's been fantastic! The drivers/guides/experts are just wonderful-so personable and knowledgeable. This time I switched from just Yorkshire Dales to the All Creatures Great and Small tour. What a treat to see where they filmed the wedding and learn about the church (and it's surprise pews!). I like Mountain Goat so much that my friend, who is a Yorkshire native and actually lives there, asked me to recommend a tour company for their friends who are new to Yorkshire and Mountain Goat is top of list! Bravo for the third time Mountain Goat!

Great day out in the Dales - We had such a wonderful time on this tour. Our driver and guide, Barry was extremely likable and knowledgeable. He made sure we were all comfortable and our needs were met. The scenery was outstanding, we really enjoyed hearing about the history and seeing spots used in filming All Creatures Great & Small as well as some films.

A delightful day in the Yorkshire Dales - Excellent time viewing the Yorkshire Dales and the scenes from All Creatures Great and Small. It was all as advertised: Departed a few minutes after 9 and returned by 6 p.m. The weather cooperated as after a rainy start the clouds cleared and we had sun to reflect off the vibrant green hills. Our guide (John S) kept us supplied with an engaging and often humorous commentary I'll sure look for Mountain Goat Tours again when I return to the area!

Visiting Grassington and the Dales - Our tour guide, John S, provided insightful commentary throughout the tour. The route was very interesting and I was glad that our excellent driver was in charge on such narrow roads. The small group was friendly and made good companions in the way.

Must see : Yorkshire Dales - We enjoyed our tour very much . John was a wealth of information and guided us and kept us entertained through the day. John has a great sense of humour which made the day even lovelier . The tour covered all the highlights of the Yorkshire dales and then some ! Would highly recommend this excursion!
