Adam was kind, fun and very interesting! - We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Hop-On Hop-Off City Sightseeing Bus Tour in York, and much of the credit goes to our incredible tour guide, Adam. From the moment we boarded the bus, Adam was exceptionally helpful and informative, making sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. His knowledge of York's history and landmarks was impressive, and he shared fascinating stories and facts with great enthusiasm. Adam's engaging and friendly demeanor added so much value to the tour, making it not just a journey through the city, but a memorable and enjoyable learning experience. We truly appreciated his dedication and passion for his job. Adam went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a wonderful time, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting York, especially if you get lucky enough to have Adam as your tour guide!

Tour guides excellent - We always try the hop on hop off bus when visiting new places to learn about the area and help get our bearings. The one in York was excellent, one of the best. This, I feel, was down entirely to having a human commentator. It made the trip so much more interesting with both guides we met having such a wealth of knowledge about the history of York.

Best way to see the city! - Whenever we visit a city we always look for the hop-on-hop-off bus company as we have always found its the best way to see the city. The York experience is no exception. Chris, our tour guide, was very funny and informative, teaching us new things about York we would never have known without going on the bus tour.

Wonderful way to experience York - We love a tour bus and York is one of the best. We did the full tour twice in one day and had Adam and Mark as guides. You get a different experience with different guides - both equally knowledgeable and brilliant but with different anecdotal things thrown in. Plus we can’t remember everything from one trip. We loved it so much we’re booking for the next 2 days as well. Then we can hop on and off and do the museums etc. A wonderful way to see York and with entertaining and passionate tour guides. And they recommend things to do and see. Well worth the money. Highly recommended.

Informative tour - Good tour of York with a friendly informative tour guide. Usefully lets you know what was available at stops. I was a little annoyed that I waited at stop 10 The Barbican for 20 minutes and the bus sailed by and did not stop. I held up my hand waving the red bus information leaflet in hand and the lady driver actually looked at me but made no attempt to pull in. Can I suggest that the bus company make it clear if they are going to miss any stops when you book or actually join tour. Overall enjoyed the experience.

Brilliant tour! - Fantastic bus journey taking you past all the main tourist stops with lots of information! We chose to sit up on the top of the bus although it was slightly raining but it didn’t change anything as the tour was still informative throughout. I booked this tour as well as you are able to get off and on at any of the stops along the route all day long which I thought “brilliant , value for money”. However we went off the bus map times and the stop times after 5pm to get us back to the train station from Cliffords Tower , and no bus arrived? We ended up getting a uber back to our hotel but upon checking booking.com on a whim (where I booked from) , it showed the buses finished at 4:30pm. There was no display showing this or it being written on the map at all. Really let us down as we paid full price for ONE journey. I would however still choose to use the sightseeing bus again!
