Join other fans on an All Creatures Great and Small Tour including locations from the latest TV adaptation from Channel 5 as well as sites from the original BBC series from the 1970s.

The first stop of the day will be at the ‘World of James Herriot’ attraction where you can see the former surgery and home of Alf Wright.

This day tour by mini-coach showcases the culture and beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. It will take fans of the James Herriot books and TV series (both the current and the original BBC series) on a picturesque tour of the dales covering more than 15 locations from the show over the years.

Lunch will be taken at Hardraw where you can stop for lunch at the pub that was actually used as the interior of The Drovers Arms and featured in many of the episodes of the new series. Entry to the World of James Herriot is also included in the tour.

Your day-long All Creatures Great and Small Tour will be full of scenic countryside and will conclude back in central York.

All Creatures Great and Small. - A fascinating day and insight into the wonderful world of the All Creatures Great and Small drama series both the original and the remake. Our tour guide was a pleasant lad by the name of Trevor.... There is little that Trevor doesn't know about the Yorkshire Dales and or All Creatures Great and Small... A very knowledgeable guy... This tour is a must for any die hard All Creatures Great and Small fan and is suitable for fans of both the original and the recently remade series . Trevor took us to all the focal points and buildings plus memorable places of relevance to both the original and the remade series. I couldn't recommend this trip/Tour guide Trevor enough. It was a pleasure to have been a part of this trip and to have met Trevor and the other visitors present yesterday. Thanks Trevor. You're a gentleman. Graham Coulter.

Great tour and Yorkshire dales sightseeing. - Great tour for All Creatures Great and Small. We stayed in York for the weekend to pick up the tour. Trevor our tour guide and driver was very welcoming. He explained the itinerary for the day and took us to the James Herriot centre in Thirsk. This was a great start to the tour. We headed out across the dales and saw such great scenery that would never have got to see on our own. Trevor was very knowledgeable about the dales as well as the tour and gave useful info that the Americans and Canadian customers would be interested in too. Some great stops for lunch and final stop of grassington. Great day and it made our weekend! Thank you Trevor.

Very Enjoyable Tour - This was a very enjoyable tour, Trevor our driver/guide was excellent, was very knowledgeable not just about All Creatures Great & Small, but of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Was an excellent day, will not forget. Would recommend this tour.

Truly excellent experience - We thoroughly enjoyed the All Creatures Great and Small tour. Trevor was our guide. He was knowledgeable about Yorkshire in general and about the series in particular. His engaging banter was informative and lively. He made it a truly excellent experience.

Driving down ACGAS memory lane - I have just come back from this absolutely wonderful “All creatures great and small” tour. Finally seeing “Darrowby” and the amazing “World of James Harriot” museum made me very emotional - in the very best way. As ACGAS is one of my favourite childhood memories and my favourite TV show, seeing the pictures and lines come true, touched me deeply. The tremendous landscape, the sheep, the lovely villages and the omnipresent dry stone walls, combined with James Harriot’s stories, created a unique experience. I had a lovely time with this very lovely group we were. Thanks in a bunch!

Guide knew nothing about James Herriot - The Yorkshire Dales were absolutely gorgeous. The places we stopped at were wonderful, however the guide did not have much information about the references to James Herriot and the television series that I was expecting for this tour.
