England’s best tour company - I regret I did not take more tours with this company . The driver /guide was awesome (Trevor). He knew so much and had a clear interesting voice. All the sites were interesting and worth Stopping but the tour was kept on schedule. The price was a bargain.

Magical Yorkshire Dales Experience - During our time in York, we took this Yorkshire Dales Tour with Mountain Goat Tours. Our guide was John S. John was very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. Even though it rained off and on, John took us to all across the Dales. He took us took many of the All Creatures sights and this was quite a nice surprise for us. This tour was far more than we expected! Thanks John S for a great day!!!

Beautiful, Stunning, Unforgettable Tour of the Yorkshire Dales!! - Wonderful Full-Day Mini-Bus Tour of the Yorkshire Dales!! We highly recommend Mountain Goat Tours!! Our Tour Guide, John S., was a retired Solicitor (Lawyer) and was excellent at communicating copious amounts of extra information about the history of the Yorkshire Dales. He spoke clearly and slowly so that our American ears could understand all that he was saying. We were staying Heworth/York, so it was easy to walk to our pickup point for the tour. The stops for the ice-cream at the Brymor Creamery and the cheese at the Wensleydale Creamery were an unexpected treat!! Bolton Castle and the Falconry Exposition was outstanding, too! For the All Creatures Great and Small fans, there were many exciting surprises of things to see from the old (1970's) and new TV series... A pint at "The Drovers Arms" anyone? However, if you want more of the ACGS experience, you will need to book a separate/specific ACGS Mountain Goat Tour. We did a self-guided tour to Thirsk on the day before to go to the James Herriot (Alf Wight) Museum, and would highly recommend this as well. However, the stars of the show were the Yorkshire Dales and Fells, themselves, with their lower hedge rows and upper stone walls and sheep and cattle and stunningly beautiful green grass. We were bless with wonderful weather... cool and mostly sunny with some intermittent rain. Wear good, comfortable, closed-toe shoes and bring and light jacket. Again, we highly recommend Mountain Goat Tours and John S.! Enjoy and God Bless!!

Must see!! - John S was our tour guide for our day long Yorkshire Dales Tour. He was fabulous! John was very knowledgeable about the area. We had several very pleasant stops to stretch our legs, see some sight, take pictures, get an ice cream, and have lunch. I have not been here before, and I now have a great love for this National Park. The countryside is indescribably beautiful. Thanks John S!!

Yorkshire Dales L Midgley - What an amazing day? Set off with John S as our guide and driver. A very friendly and knowledgeable man. He was able to answer questions in great detail and gave good explanations on where we were going and what to expect. There was no rushing about, and everyone stuck to the timings. John had plenty of funny stories to keep us entertained.i

Yorkshire Dales Tour with Trevor - We really enjoyed our Yorkshire Dale Tour. Trevor provided a fantastic commentary throughout the trip and he was really knowledgeable in a number of areas. It was a great way to see the Dales without the hassle of driving yourself and we felt the balance between driving and stops was just right. We will definitely be booking another tour with Mountain Goat Tours when we're next in the area.

Day trip to Yorkshire dales - Nice trip but lunch was hurried and the place had no room to serve. Clearly many tours stopped here and they were packed. 1 hour lunch is quick anyway and with the crowds, it proved too short.
